It looks like 【LOVE IS BORN】 ~8th Anniversary 2011~ concert(s) will not be held...
Are you sure she will come back?
She have to come back. Maybe not in this near future.

| I think she will. She will be bored with a lot of new songs in her head. LIB8 was a long shot to begin with. Her baby is still tiny and it is a lot of work to prepare a concert. |

She has a BABY. She as a FAMILY. Stop being so impatient and give her some rest, she's probably stressed out enough because a tiny baby requires a lot of attention.
I'm sure we'll get something new next year. |

She will come back, definitely. This is what she said last time during LOVE is BORN 7th Anniversary, right?
I agree with skeedatl - preparing a concert requires a lot of effort and it's very time-consuming, and as we can assume, Ai-chan spends all her time with her family which is the most important to her right now. She's been working really hard since 2003, so at least a year of hiatus will do her only good. And, of course, she fully deserved it.
Honestly, I hoped that she would show up and do the concert, since this is some kind of tradition, but I can't be angry with her about that. Instead, I'm waiting very patiently for an announcement concerning her comeback. I won't be angry if we have to wait for it a little longer, BUT - Ai-chin, with time, our expectations about your comeback are increasing! |

Chokokokoa, I perfectly understand your feelings. Every big fan of a celebrity can't wait for them to come back to their careers after a hiatus Me too... But! We can wait and our patience will pay off Don't worry then It would be awful if she had to return to music before she's ready. That could end up in her releasing bad singles, being in low artistic condition, accused of being a bad mom... We don't want our Ai-chin to be exploited, right? |

I was thinking about it again this morning and how other artists have handled it. LIke Utada and Hitomi, Ai-chin has been running full throttle with career since 2003. Perhaps being on the afterburners for 7+ years has worn her out. Perhaps she is burned out on the art. From all appearances and interviews she has always held a special place in her heart for family and children. Perhaps this next chapter of motherhood is the last she'll write and there won't be an entertainment industry comeback.
I'm thinking not just of the lower sales of her last few singles but the general trend against the anti-idols in general. The anti-idols (these singer-songwriter solo artists) are being hugely eclipsed by these over produced corporate steered dance troops like AKB, After School, SNSD and others. Music tastes have changed and solo artists rarely top the charts any more, certainly not like they used to. |

That's ironic. Really ironic. |

| Not ironic, just disappointing. But have faith that music tastes of people will change again. In America we are already back to soloists being by far the most popular. The same will be in Japan in a few years. |

^ i doubt about soloist become more popular than group in japan. it has been like this for the past 20 years. but we can expect that this break beteen ai and music industry and people will be a good thing for her career.
it could be the end or a new beginning. |

I so agree !!
But i'm kinda afraid about that, it's been kinda hard for her to touch a new kind of audience.
Let's hope the best ! |
