The Happy Box, similar to the one sold in late 2006 early 2007 has returned. To summarize, the Happy Box is a box of random Ai-chin items that Avex / Mu-mo store is trying to clear out of inventory to make room for new 2012 inventory. They typically don't have enough of the items to warrant selling them by themselves or they don't want to continue carrying 2010 items. So when you buy a box you don't get to choose what you want, it will be a surprise but in exchange you should be getting items for far cheaper than their original value if purchased separately.
So it is a bit like gambling. You plunk down your 3000 yen and see what you get. Hopefully it will be good tour items or Love-chan items, at least that is what I'm hoping for. Previous happy boxes had some tour items like keychains, shirts, towels and fans so if I can get a few items like that for only 3000 yen I will consider myself pretty lucky.
The mu-mo store does not sell to places outside Japan but CDJapan does have a buying service where for a fee, they will purchase the item for you, receive it from Mu-mo and then forward it on to you. I did a purchase with CDJapan to get the Ai-chin T-shirts and it worked great and the price was reasonable, especially compared to a traditional forwarding service.
The CDJapan buying service request page can be seen HERE. You simply put in the link to the webpage of the item you are looking for, then put in the description and the quantity. They will then create a temporary item listing at CDJapan you can use to buy the item just as you would any other item from CDJapan. So if CDJapan will send their own items to your country, you should have no problem using their buying service to purchase items from the Mu-mo store. |

ayuPanda - I explain how to get it if you aren't in Japan in the top post of this thread.
Choko - I've ordered two of the boxes using the CDJapan buying service. The initial order cost was very high ¥23500. The cart calculated the shipping twice (totaling ¥12500) plus the buying service fee twice but they said they would adjust it after they receive the order. The same thing happened when I bought the Ai-O shirts and they refunded the overpayment. Looking at the cart the overpayment comes from the way the CDJapan cart calculates shipping. When I put two items in the cart it doubled the shipping cost.
The actual charges are supposed to be
¥6000 Mu-mo item cost (for 2 boxes)
¥500 domestic shipping
¥2000 buying service fee
¥8500 + EMS shipping to me
So I expect a big partial refund. |

Yeah, it doubled to me, too. It cost me a total of ¥20,540 (¥11,000 → 2 × product cost ¥6,000 + 2 × domestic shipping cost ¥1,000 + 2 × service fee ¥4,000 & ¥9,540 → shipping cost using FedEx).
I think it will be reduced to ¥18,040, but if the shipping cost via FedEx can be reduced too, I will be happy! 
Now shipping via FedEx is available for this service since I requested for it to CDJapan customer service. Nice lady Saeko Obi, the customer service for this special request service!
Oh yeah, shipping cost via FedEx is cheaper than via EMS!! 
FedEx ¥9,540, EMS ¥10,000!!  |

| Maybe it will automatically come Fedex. They didn't specifically say EMS in my confirmation. Now it will be a race to see who gets their package first! |

| But we bought our shirts pretty close to the same time and I got mine way faster than you received yours. Maybe being on the west coast of USA makes receiving items faster. I always get items from Japan and China very quickly. Usually items from China come in just a few days, even with "slow" EMS. |

| I received an email from Saeko-san and it was stated that they don't know the weight until they receive the items and the price given was for 3kg. Obviously as before, they'll refund if it is less than that. I actually hope I get 3kg of stuff since this is a surprise. The heavier the better as it means more things inside! |

| I will definitely put of photos once my stuff shows up. I picked up 2 boxes so I'm hoping for a large variety of items. I would be pretty bummed if both boxes had the same contents or mostly same contents. |

| Well the Mu-mo store no long lists the items. I'm still waiting for CDJapan to ship the 2 I bought on Dec 26th. It's only been a couple of weeks so I'm not nervous yet. I just hope CDJapan was able to get them before they were sold out. |

I just sent an email asking about it. It's only been a few weeks so I don't expect shipment so soon but I wanted to verify that they were able to successfully place the order with Mu-mo. Hopefully they weren't sold out before they could order from Mu-mo.
EDIT - I heard back and my items have shipped
