I'm not saying she rolls in the day off and rips off a few songs. No one does that. But performing a few songs for a live you don't produce HAS to be infinitately easier than a huge solo production like LiB with costumes, lighting, choreography, and a mile long set list. That is months and months of work and rehearsals to put a LiB live together, especially the size of LiB7. She could be back on the bike with a week or two of rehearsals for an a-nation appearance. It's not even like a-nation itself would be new to her, she's done, what, 5 or 6 of them? And she's been playing steady for 2 years, certainly enough to be putting out new work like Gomen ne and according to her interviews she has way more songs in the pipeline which means studio time to me.

Max obviously adores ai-chin and if she wanted to do a-nation, he would let her do it in a second.

I think Ai-chan already know if she's doing a live at a-nation or no... I would like to be in her head ^^
I'm sure a surprise appearance at the last date at Tokyo is possible, so let's wait, and i even prefer if it's a surprised, i would be even more excited by knowing it when it appears ^^ !!

Btw, i'd love a new album for christmas and a new single for lib 9th...

Very well versed... I totally agree, I sincerely believe that singing is one of her greatest passion, and as I mentioned earlier, She'll definitely make a way for that to happen. Let's all wait and when it comes, let's have a little toast (long distance one) as a celebration for her. Boogie

I have no doubt that if Ai really wanted to participate in a-nation that Avex will say no to it. But I still stand firmly and believe it's not likely to happen. And I agree, Ai should know by now if she will perform in a-nation or not.

I agree, with a-nation she'll be doing a lot fewer songs versus a full solo concert, which less songs to rehearse. There probably won't be costume change cause Ai is not the type to focus about that. I agree that she has a lot of songs to choose from: ones that we've heard, and ones that we haven't. I agree that she'll be sharing the stage and doesn't have to worry about doing small things to promote it.

I disagree though, that this is anything like a music show. When you mention music show, I'm assuming that you mean that all the lighting, settings, stage backdrop and other technical things are taken care of by the crew. Remember that year in a-nation, where she jumped up on stage from below? Or that year where the band members enter the stage in a special formation? I don't have any sources, but I'm going to take a wide guess that Ai came up with those ideas with the staff and together they made it happen. Not to mention Ai most likely give input about certain technical things such as the colour of lights to use and when to use them. Sure, Ai can sit back and just appear on a-nation and just perform a few songs without giving much details like previous years. I don't know about you, but I'll be disappointed if that did happen cause that's not the Ai I fell in love with. The Ai I know is creative, funky and full of ideas. I much rather she come back full on with a wait, than to come back with short notice and give a performance with no surprising/interesting factor.

We know that Ai has a lot of songs recorded up, enough to fill a few albums. So the fact that she had 2 special songs released while she was away is not enough to convince me that those are recently recorded.

She has been a part of a-nation since 2004, which will means she has 7 years of experience sharing the stage with other avex stars. But she has also done 5 LiB concerts... but what does this has to do with the amount of work that is require? Sure, it means she has a better idea of how things run but it does not make the prep work for either one any easier. In fact, if you notice the a-nation artist list release so far, it's a lot different than previous years. Big names like Hamasaki Ayumi, TRF and AAA aren't participating as many concerts as they did in previous years. The concert starts later, but the ticket price has increase. To me this is hinting longer time slots for each of these artists, a trade off for fewer less popular artists.

A little off topic, but on the topic of the size of this year's LiB:
While I agree that LiB requires a lot of preparation and rehearsal, I can't see Ai going all out with months of training as if it was one of her normal tours. Looking back at a lot of the LiB and comparing to her concert tours, there are less costume changes (if any at all) and has a much more laid back environment. I agree this year's LiB will be quite a big project cause it has 3 different venues, which is like a mini tour.
Checking the website, it seems the Tokyo one will be the same venue as the very first LiB which is a lot smaller than LiB 7. Which has me more convince that this is going to be a more intimidate concert than a grand one that requires more choreography and such.

Speaking about back environment, since she's back on the same kind of stage she used to do for her annual lib live show, I hope it will look better than the lib6 which was kinda a mess to me. I mean the set, and the overall design of it. I know it's an intimidate concert, but i have some good idea I should tell her about that lol

To me she just wanted to make her comeback ith her fans first. That's all.
It's not a really big deal if we consider that lots of bigs avex artists are not participating anymore to a-nation anyway. Even Hamasaki will perform only one time this year.
