That's pretty bad.
With such a tie-in. They need to promote regarding the potentiel of it!

I haven't been listening to Ai-chin much recently but I really like this single. Got it looped on spotify. So far I like Sakura Harahara the most even though I didn't like it when the preview was released. Watashi is very energetic. Joushi Shelter is... weird, but it's not unusual when it comes to Ai-chin Tongue

I'm glad that I can finally listen to Ai-chin on spotify but I wonder if it won't lower the sales... Well, on the other hand these are low anyway so maybe it's better to promote her some more and let people listen to her on spotify...

To make it clear, "Spotify" and other streaming services are now part of the general rankings. (Except for Oricon which only include physical sales...still playing it very old school).
According to Pitchwork, "1,500 on-demand audio or video streams will amount to one album sale". She has now 3,741 audio streams for "Watashi" on Spotify so it's like +2,5 copies to add on her sales numbers Wink
So stream as much as you want, the more she gets high audio streaming numbers, the more she will get paid. And that digital transition is really important for artists now.

Day3: #42

Damn. That tie-in didn't help her.

Not good.
Tiring to see such a tie-in not helping her to get more attention.

I think the fact that "Watashi" is kinda underwhelming didn't help either... I mean, I like it but the song lacks a climax or something that makes it stand it out more.
