| omg! I love orchestra music! I own tons of Final Fantasy, Chrono Cross, Grandia...etc soundtracks just to listen to the beautiful works of the composers. I also favor Lord Of The Rings soundtracks; beautiful music there. I love Nobuo Uematsu; his creations are legend! |

I really love Orchestra, and anything that I find good, such as guitar, piano, violin, chinese instrument but I can only play one of Thai Musical Instrument, which almost alike chinese harp.
I enjoy any song I find it make me relax, but Hip-Hop and heavy metal rock aren't rarely be my stlye.
I'm not sure, I've heard that Nobuo-san had quit SquareEnix, so I wonder how newly FF song will be.... |

Personally I like orchestral music, but I'm way too lazy to listen to anything in that genre other than Trans Siberian Orchestra . |

| iono if anyone reads this but im really feeling the Sora no Woto Original Soundtrack. songs especially "Une lumiere envoutante" , "Relique abandonnee" and "Le paysage en bordure de lac". the first two arent much of orchestra but the last is as is most of the soundtrack in itself. the first two are guitar oriented with relique abandonee being a duet |

Maa, I definitely have to check out this thread. I've been digging orchestra and classical crossover lately, and it seems like all of these recommendations are right up my alley.
So, if anyone happens to check out this thread, here is one of my recommendations!
1. Ólafur Arnalds - Neo-Classical/Electronic - He used to be in a punk band before he went solo and did classical music! His favorite thing to do is to take electronic and modern beats and subtly include them in hauntingly romantic and wistful classical pieces. My favorite song: Ljósiđ, or its more dramatic sequel Hćgt, kemur ljósiđ
I'll probably add more later haha. |
