| I remember the first time I listened to this. I thought "awwww, Otsuka Ai must have had a very sad summer romance. She always writes sad summer love songs!" well not ALWAYS there were "SMILY" and "happy days" but "Kingyo Hanabi" and "Planeterium" have that same nostalgic sad summer romance feel!! |

well, of course i knew ai wouldnt sing about something vulgar, but i didnt wanna look like an idiot and say, uh...no  now i can pick out some words though, too.

why is this song titled "Natsuzora" instead of "Natsu Sora", since sora means sky, and i guess -zora means sky too?
i like this song very much!
the chorus has a very ambient sound, which seems to permeate my entire mind and being with sound of Ai's beautiful voice and instrumentals.
the song title is written in japanese kanji exactly the same as the title would be written in chinese, so i can actually read it!  |

| I don't know how it works but there's a tendency to apply the ten-ten on the second kanji character. It happens a lot but sometimes it also doesn't happen so I found it very hard to predict whether or not the ten-ten is applied. An example (apart from natsuzora) is uhh..oh! 日日. Normally it's written as 日々but they are the same thing. It's pronounced "hi-bi". I'm not sure about other examples, I can't think up any right now lol. Sorry I couldn't really explain very well, but yea, the zora means sky. I don't think it works on its own though...but I could be wrong on that. |

Oh right...umm...I'll show you lol. Let's say, you have a character like ta た. Put the ten-ten on it and it gets a harder sound, it becomes da だ. See those two dashes at the top right? That's your ten-ten. It can be applied to s sounds (becomes z), h sounds (becomes b), t sounds (becomes d), k sounds (becomes g) and I think that's about it...I can never remember the alphabet = =
Oh also, there's a thing called maru which can only be applied to h sounds. From lets say, ha は it becomes pa ぱ. It's that little circle at the top, it might be a bit difficult to see....but maru literally means circle lol. |

It's so amazing how this song can be beautiful, bitter and sad, like a poem.
The music and lyric blend, leaving at the same time enough space for audience's imagination.
The 'La la la la....' part is adorable and wonderful.
