Just wondering...
Who is having vacation and who is at school?
I'd like to understand overseas school systems more...
so please state when and when not you go to school...
me first:
i go to school on the day after labour day in september
then i hav 2 semesters by the end of june
n i get july and august off
christmas i get 2 weeks off
it all depends...
i lik my school yr
kinda dull though
wish it start earlier n end earlier!  |

| im on vacation rite now its kinda boring besides goin to training which is the only fun thing i do in the summer and the internet which is starting to get boring nowadays. i would much rather go to skool or chill with my friends but its kinda hard to do dat kuz i dun drive. |

I started summer vacation June 16th and school starts again early September!! ^^
Here's my schools system (well I go to a Private school but the holidays and stuff are similar to the Public systems) And I'm only saying the long breaks (not one or two day breaks, full breaks)
School starts in early September.
2 Weeks off for winter break mid December to early January.
2 Weeks off for spring break during March (not quite sure when).
And then...about 3 Months off for summer vacation!!
That's just all the big vacations, but we have a lotta one or two days offa school for Jewish holidays, etc. |

It's pretty similar here in Canada, but the schedule you mentioned above is just for any school before university I think. At my university, you only get 1 week off in March, that's called the "Reading week".  You can't really do much during that week because the mid-terms are sometimes right after the 1 week holiday. 
btw, you get 4 months of holiday for summer, if you're a university student.  |

| um.. ha! i quitted school last week becuase i dislike the course and some financial problems, well i was rather streesed about it at start, but after i thought through it, well... i can study at the next intake with the corse i like next year! so currently i'm searching for permanent jobs "full-time" to save up money for my studies next year... |

well im schoolin hehe i luv schoolin at least it wun make me bored!!
this is the singapore education system! hehe since kikubelle requested!
january - march (1 week holidae)END of term 1
march - may ( 1 month of holidae A.K.A june holidae)END of term 2
[end of semester 1]
semester one is longer than semester 2
[start of semester 2]
smester is kinda suks! the school would try to rush everything!!
july-august [1 week of holidae]END of term 3
august -october [this term is reali short..]end of term 4
(2 motnh of holidae!!!!)yeah!! for my school its will be 2 month and 2 wks!!
cause my school exam is reali near!!!i just finshed my term 3 exam !!
this aplies to primary to secndary! |

I have summer vacation since the last week of May~~so boring.
I think most university starts at the end of August, so that's when I'll be going back to school. But until then, I'll be sitting at home playing with my new powerbook. |

um...interesting...your university call it reading week. My school call it "Half term" where i learn for half of the term and i get 1 week hoilday  by the way my school have three terms. im on holiday right now but my school gonna start again  |

School starts in 3 and a half weeks for me ^__^ Still plenty of time to sleep 12 hours each day 
We're having uniforms for next year (only top) so I think I'm looking forward to it  hehehe I'm lazy that's why uniforms are good |
