There is the TOP 10 of the best selling album in Japan (from January 1988 to 4th July,2005)
1. Utada Hikaru - First Love (1999), 7.65millions
2. B'z - Pleasure (1998), 5.129millions
3. Glay - Review-Best of Glay (1997), 4.876millions
4. Utada Hikaru - Distance (2001), 4.469millions
5. B'z - Treasure (1998), 4.435millions
6. Ayumi Hamasaki - A Best (2001), 4.291millions
7. Globe - Globe (1996), 4.136millions
8. Utada Hikaru - Deep River (2002), 3.605millions
9. Kuraki Mai - Delicious Way (2000), 3.53millions
10. Every Little Thing, Time to Destination (1998), 3.52millions
Congratulation to Hikki by having 3 of her great albums in the top 10. I am quite suprise for Ayu only gets the 6th place, i thought she would be the top 3.  |

Well I think Hikki is certainly creating a legend there, but I still don't really like her lol.  I don't know, maybe I like avex too much. 
Seems like not many albums nowadays can get on the chart anymore, not even Hikki's own Exodus album, or Ayu's My Story, for example. I'm wondering if Ai can ever get onto this chart. Probably not, even Ayu, the J-Pop legend, can only reach number 6 with her best collection.  |

i dont really like hikaru lol i find only her ballads great
indeed artists dont get such numbers anymore ~_~ id love to see ai chan there some day..ah thatd be perfect  |

| First Love dosen't deserves being #1 IMO, that album is Hikki's worse >< I actually own 3 albums from that top 10 lol |

WOOW HIkki sure is big! There aren't many songs of her albums which I like but I guess the japanese people like her songs. Congrats to Ayu for the number 6 spot! Maybe Ai will be up there in a few years  |

woow hiki is sure alot well i admit that her first love is reali nice!!  one of the first few japnese song i heard hehe maybe they should include simple and clean inside!! lol song of kingdom hearts!!too bad its a game! lol! hope ai can get in to the chart soon!! hehe!hikaru is sure famous now!!hehe shes married arr... |

In my opinion First Love is a jpop song which everyone will have an impression of.
EVILXKAKASHI: I thought simple and clean(hikari) was also a single of Utada hikaru? |

oppz i dunno hahhaa i though its just a game song!like eyes on me from faye wong well nowadays square like to use singer EG,FFX-2 koda kumi sang the 1000 words or watever..there quite alot of game too like dynasty warrior they use BOA song too for their ending hope some games oso include ai otsuka song in it!! |

I don't know why you think so, but everyone knows hikki bcos of this album. She was the first one who brought R&B songs for japanese and make it really hot in there. |

i love it when they include japanese artists at the games ^_^
its funny, i was playing all those games and now i learn all of this stuff..squal was modeled after gackt, hikki sand at kingdom hearts simple and clean, koda sang 1000 words..its so good..the world is so small ^_~ |
