Oh, I finally did get The Cloudy Dreamer. LOVE it! It's incredible! Now I just have to get around to watching the DVD that came with it... ( I ended up choosing ULTRA BLUE if anyone cares  )
Any new releases scheduled that anyone knows about?

| A new single should be released in fall. However Olivia's always pushing release dates back so I wouldn't bet the house on it. |

I wonder what it'll be like? I like pretty much all of her recent stuff, so I think it's a safe bet that I'll like it.  |

She said on her Myspace and her blog that she's writing an album ;D During her concert in Paris, she sang a new song 'Real Love', which can be probably a new single, but she was not sure ... ( the single will be released maybe at the end of september, I think ... it's more like a Nana-song ... )
I recently bought her 'Lost Lolli album' at Japan Expo ( and I had an autograph <3 <3 ! SHE'S DEADLY CUTE!! ) and I love her rock-style! She's really nice and I love her so much |

Ho, no, I couldn't go to her concert  But you can find some videos on the internet xD
and yes, she speaks about a new album on her official myspace. I don't know where she said that, but she wants to create a band with her brother, too |

^ Oh, yeah. Like, I got the DVD with The Cloudy Dreamer, so I've seen some lives on it.
Really? Cool! Is her brother's name like, Geoffrey or something? 'Cause in the booklet that came with The Cloudy Dreamer, some of the songs have "Geoffrey Lufkin" as one of the people that worked on it. I wasn't sure if it was her brother or her dad or something though. But, it's probably her brother.
(Oh, and I'm not sure if I spelled Geoffrey right, since there are other ways to spell it...)
EDIT: I checked OLIVIA's avex page, and in her diary, there's an entry from June 12th, '07 (either that or December 6th, I was never good at reading dates like that...) (2007/06/12 is how it's written...)

Seriously I don't know when we'll ever get the new single she promised us. Olivia seems one of those artists who keeps pushing release dates back over and over... she also mentioned she was going to release a personal full length album but we never got that one either. Seriously it's a bit tiring waiting for her to release because she hates deadlines and set schedules. So my best bet is late winter.
Also lately Olivia's been into fashion. A while ago she designed some jewelery and now she is modeling with Sly. Maybe she's getting interested in a modeling career as a side-project or something and it certainly suits her

Oh, I thought she was a model when she was younger? I could be thinking of someone else though.
Gosh, I hope she gets on with it! I mean, I'm really one to talk *such a procrastinator* but still. She gets paid when she finishes! It's not like I do...
Yeah, and my best friend...I mean, I could practically see the lightbulb turn on above her head...it was funny, in the middle of art class, she turns to me and goes, "Why isn't this album longer?! I love it now!" And shakes her iPod at me. I'm like...uh, what album? But then I saw the screen and she was listening to The Cloudy Dreamer. I explained about mini-albums, and then proceeded to ask her why she was just discovering this now, since I gave her the tracks like, back in April or something, and she just said she'd never gotten around to listening to them until now. Geez...
But anyways, my point is now she's attacking me like I'm the one in charge of OLIVIA's releases. So I told her probably the next single would be sometime in winter, but Olivia's a procrastinator like us.
So yeah.
Sorry, that was incredibly pointless.
Anyways, thanks for the pix, Rinoa.
Does anyone else ever post in here? Ever since school started all the students have withered away and stopped posting so much... *guilty as charged* |

I am so sad everytime I see the release date pushes back every time... oh well, I guess if it's by the end of this year, I'll be okay. =) I hope we get a concrete date sometime...
Olivia's a rather good model. If she's not releasing anything, then at least there's something for us to see...I read about her designing jewelery in her blog (isn't it awesome how it's also in English?) I tried to look for it online to see what it looks like...but to no avail. Oh well, perhaps later.
I'm definitely buying this single! (when it finally comes out!) |

Her career was always as a singer but she like many other singers is an "unofficial model", meaning they have photoshoots on certain magazines. However this is the first time she is taking a photoshoot specifically at their website, though she modeled with some clothes on Sweet. I'm pretty excited about it because Olivia is quite attractive and deserves to have more fashion photoshoots. It would be interesting if she gave a go at professional modeling for a while, though she might be a bit old for Japan's standards.
There are several images on her jewelery online. I might've considered purchasing it if it wasn't so expensive.
I'm also going to buy this single whenever it comes out though it's probably gonna be later than November. Sheez.. it's a shame. |

Well, look on the bright-side, if it gets pushed back that far, you can just make someone buy it for you as a Christmas gift! |

Hmm, I figure I should mention this since there's some OLIVIA fan out there that are looking forward to a new release from her.
According to CDJapan she will be release a maxi single/mini album (she sure seems to have a tendency to release these kinds of albums) on Nov. 21st titled: Touch The Sky. Hopefully since the album has a name that this is a real release and not some GT4 release date deal
This is what CDJ had to say: New mini-album release from OLIVIA features covers of four classic bossa nova tracks reborn through OLIVIA's voice plus two new tracks written by OLIVIA herself.
So I take it this will only have six tracks.
I was checking out her official site and I have yet to see any new release about a new album but than her officially is updated that frequently ... |

^ Well if that's true, then I'm glad! I hope the release date isn't pushed back or anything.
Though I wish there were more original tracks by her on it.
But oh well, I'll take what I can get.
