I've noticed how she doesn't get much attention even if she has quite a gorgeous voice. Thus this thread is dedicated to her.
Name: Olivia Lufkin

OH! I LOVE OLIVIA! She's great I especially love her songs "Celestial Delinquent", "Sea me", "Purple Box", "I.L.Y~yokobou~", and "mint" (even though it's really short). A lot of people don't know about her because it's really hard to find her songs on the internet. You have to know someone who knows OLIVIA to sample songs. But she's great, really great. |

| Maybe you can upload some samples for us to hear. I don't know much about her but I've heard a tiny bit about her. BTW How come she doesn't have a japanese name? |

^Because she's mixed. Her father is an American. However, she was born in Japan and raised there most of her life. For a time, she lived in Cali, but only for about 3 years or so. I'll be happy to upload some songs of hers. But, it's gonna have to wait a little while, as none of her songs are on the computer I'm on right now.
A good place to get info about her is www.olivialufkinonline.com. Her full name is Olivia Lufkin, but her stage name is just Olivia. Her official site is www.avexnet.or.jp/olivia/. |

"Internal Bleeding Strawberry"...I just love random titles like that. She looks very pretty on her official site. I'd also like to hear something from her, but I'd be happy to wait as long as you need. |

^yeah, me too. I especially like "Comatose Bunny Butcher" and "Return of the Chlorophyll Bunny". So weird...
She's a rock/metal/trip-hop sort of artist btw (I noticed her genre wasn't specified in this thread). She used to be part of this dance/eurobeat group called D&D, but left after a short while (I think only three or so singles) for a solo career. The group didn't go anywhere...
Anyway, some downloads as promised:
I.L.Y~yokobou~
Celestial Delinquent
Fake Flowers
Color of your Spoon
[I would like to say she was being poetic, but no, the title is just plain weird. ]
Enjoy! |

I don't believe Olivia has a genre.. she's more like.. hmm.. she's rather versatile trying any kind of music style. I'm quite happy that there are quite a number interested in her. |

| I use to like her back in the day when the website "Shudaika" was still up. I dunno if any of y'all remember that site, but it was a Jpop site that let you sample music, maybe I should just call it a Jpop recommendation site. Thats how I found out about her. Her first album was awesome, and I didn't care for her work after that. None of her mini albums nor her full length album that released in 2004 was good. The songs I really like by her are: Africa, Solarhalfbreed, Dress Me Up, Crystalline (a beatiful song), Sea Me and Dekinai. |

^hey, the downloads up there still work, maybe you should try again. If it doesn't work I'll be happy to re-upload. Glad you like her, spirus, she needs more fans.
"Ballerina" is a pretty song, but my favorite ballad is "Space Halo". <3 that song so much. |
