Just for the info. I thinks that in France we are sooooo prehistorics for connection speed. I would like to know your connection speed.
Mine is 1 Mo/sec... It's not verry good... |

I'm not too sure about my connection but I think it's around 1.5 Mb/s. However, the max speed I get when downloading stuff from bittorrent is around 350+kbps, and uploading speed can be as high as 80kbps. |

I'm the same with kizz and zizou .... its sooo slow when trying to download 2 files at the same time. I want to change to 1.5Mb for almost the same price but not sure because I heard the provider isnt that good. I'm stuck now ....
Also I cant use bitorrent because of this . |

Good for you dude! US has a hell lot of ISPs and thus under competition you can get a better deal for your internet service. Many members here who has a lower speed is inevitable to them, not because they pay less (in fact it's very likely to be the opposite), it's just that they don't have enough ISPs and infrastructure to drive the price down. |

You need a higher upload bandwidth lol, uploading stuff must be a pain for you, but not downloading!

100.0Mbps is just the LAN (local area network) speed, there's a bottleneck when you are connected to the internet and getting information via the cable/phoneline.
What is LAN? For example you and you dad share the same connection under one router, then if you wanna transfer file to your dad's comp, the transfer speed can be as high as 100Mbps literally. |

You can test it by go to www.testmy.net
Just go to test download or upload speed and do a smart test. |
