Google just released their new IM -- Google Talk. This is the new IM for users call or send instant messages. I have tried this IM with eyn n mokie. The design n functions are really simple for any users. You guys should have a try of this new IM. 
* You need Windows XP/2000 for it to work, other OS can use 3rd party client to connect through Jabber protocol

| Hey, this means eyn or one of you admin would have to create a google im section on in the profiles would it? |

Yes, I will include a new Google Talk section in the profile soon, an update will probably be posted under this thread later.
I would give you guys a few reason why should you try and use Google Talk. My first impression upon seeing this is "Is there really a need for a new messenger?", after testing it myself, my answer is a clear yes. The interface is simple and the message window is elegant too, you'll love how it works. The installer is only 1mb and the "talk" feature is friggin awesome too, some say it's better than Skype and I wouldn't deny that. 
Give it a try, and add me to your messenger if you like. I would probably make this the official IM protocol for Channel-Ai lol, since my contact list has only Channel-Ai members at the moment: Jason, mokie, kikubelle. Need more!
My ID is dreameyn. You only need to type out the ID before @gmail.com as only Gmail user is allowed to use the protocol.
P.S. You will need a Gmail account to use Google Talk, post a request here in this thread if you want to try this but didn't have an account and I can send you an invitation to your email. |

I'm probably going to wait until the next release when they add video chat or whatnot, but I took a quick look at the screenshots and looks pretty good so far.
My prediction - in 5 years time Google will release an operating system 
No, I don't think they'll take over Windows, but I do think they'll take over WindowsCE. |

It just brings up the download thing and it stops. I have XP and broadband. The "Help" section is of no help. Can anyone help...?
