.... well it is here anyway.
I've posted a few times but it's only just occurred to me that I really should introduce myself! 
I live in Kent, in the UK.
My hobbies include console games, home cinema, anime/manga, listening to music and...... cooking.
Artists I like include Bjork, Garbage, Steve Vai, The Flaming Lips, Mew, Stina Nordenstam, Koda Kumi, Cornelius, Pornograffiti... and of course, Ai. 
I first noticed Ai when I was on holiday in Japan  this year.
There was a massive Love Jam poster in Harajuku and I then kept seeing the picture everywhere and so, I gave in to curiosity and bought the album (+DVD) and I'm so glad I did.
Ai Otsuka has quickly become one of my favourite artists, the music has such a real and honest sound to it, the sound of someone who writes the sort of music they want to and not what they're told to write. Rarely have I heard someone who delivers such consistently good, well written music!
I'm well pleased I've found this forum, there are some quality downloads. I've just watched the Utaban magic show (which my wife also found very amusing) and the new Jam Punch DVD arrived the other day so we've been on a bit of an Ai overdose 
Anyway, enough waffle and I look forward to being part of this community in the future. |

Nice mrc, didn't realize you are older than me, but that's perfectly fine because it just show that Ai's music has touched people of different age group! My first impression about you is from the Ai's cellphone screen you posted, nice work on those!
I wonder if you have any plan to go to Japan again to see her concert while taking vacation there? Your taste in music is kinda weird haha, you like bjork and you like Ai at the same time... to me, they are just so different!
Hope you have a great time here, it's sweet that you watch those Ai's clips with your wife, and I'm glad she enjoyed it too. There's another episode of Utaban where Ai and the host is doing scientific experiment and it's very very funny!  You should give it a try, but then that file is uploaded under "members" download which means you need member access to download the file. Don't worry, a few more quality posting should get you into the list!

Posted that at 22:00 and now it's 06:15 and I'm at work, 
It's interesting you say Bjork is so different from Ai as that's the first comparison I made when I heard Ai! Not so much for the musical style but because of how much the personality of the artist come through in the music...!
Also, yes we are going to Japan again, I hope Ai tours at the same time!... and, does 32 really sound so old...?! |

ya! all poasters are all over all those tokyo building.. including trains in the underpass.. the poster was really huge.. i saw them taking down the poster once.. oh my!
anyway, u're 32 wow~and im only 16? gonna takes duno how many years to reach ur age =X seldom see ppl like u still admiring an idol =X sorry abt that.. well im yumi here.. definately not yumiotsuka im Aisaka yumi =) yoroshiku onegaishimasu! |
