Eh? For older more serious person maybe...but i got a mix feeling about Ai's music... sometimes i do think some of her happy songs is kinda childish..*is that mean i'm getting older? No~~* hmm..no not childish is makes you act younger! yes that's the word! It's makes you want to dance and smile and laugh and and do silly stuffs and make fun of yourself...which gave you unfriendly glance of are you insane and help there's a crazy person do maniac thing and i'm scared..
and her ballads will makes you cry endless tears....how can that be childish...it's very matured ... which also give you the 'look'.. I cant even listen to my mp3 player peacefully these day...
Hmm...so the conclusion is Ai music is for people of all ages and genders and aliens..it's all down to preference..if you like Jrock and Metal it would be hard to like Ai's music *even though i do like JRock* for example there's some of Ai's songs that were remix and i hate it...because i dont like trance and remix.. I'm sorry Ai-chin |

Some of her songs are quite cheerful and may be considered as childish. Usually these songs are the "happy" songs.
I think some of her songs are too happy sometimes. Most of her songs are "mature" though, her lyrics show a mature image. |

| Well I think lately her music has matured a lot, she sounds less hyper and more adult-like. |

When i first known about Ai, I HATED her alot. I think she sounds JUST like a lil kid and I hate music like that. One day, my mind just suddenly tell me: "Ai is good." and from that on, I love her.
My story have no point, but I'm just saying, people will probably think she sounds childish, yet those who enjoy it will find something meaningful inside it. |

In my country, J-Pop ain't that popular. My friends are the only ones who love Japanese stuff in class. People here in Singapore mostly love Chinese songs and English ones. That's why not many of us crave for Ayumi's albums like they do in Japan/other parts of America.
I think Ai's voice is not too cute and not too sweet for me(she sounds more matured now and it seems that her songs are more to ballads). Unlike, some other songs where the singers edit their voices to get a voice that's really cute, Ai's cute voice comes in naturally and is therefore just neutrally cute and sweet.
For all I know, Ai mostly attracts girls for her cute appearance and voice. Her soft rock songs seem to attract more boys though. SMILY isn't really a boys' favourite and they usually go for To Me and the like. |

I don't think Ai's music is childish, but maybe people think it is because she sings some 'happy' songs ^^
But when you listen to her ballads, you can hear that it's not childish at all and most of the songs have a meaning in it.
There's a different between happy and childish songs |

| I don't think so..if her music were childish, she would have a lot of child fans...and if you go and check the birthday list of channel-ai, everybody is like 16 - 25 years old, so Ai's music is not childish, it's only happy and cut but not necessarily childish |

| It took a little bit for Ai to grow on me, to be honest...I think her music is more girly...not childish. Most girls feel the way Ai describes in her songs at some point in time. I know I have, and I'm only 17. Some of her songs are just plain dark (shabondama!? my GOD!) so I just consider this proof of her being human. I mean, no one is happy 100% of the time. |

When somebody hears her upbeat songs for the first time, that is the first impression. But being a kid myself, I ♥♥love♥♥ all her songs. My dad finds it odd when he heard it on my Computer one day but I caught him singing it while he's resting (maybe to tease me or maybe it grew on him?) |

I love dark rock (not too heavy) songs too. But there are times when I feel too depressed or stressed to listen to that kind of music. It's always Ai's cute and innocent music that cheer me up! Everyone needs their "Happy Days" too. |
