| Does anybody here use Photoshop? I was planning on started a website on my favoritie stuff and I would like to know how to make website layouts, templates, avatars, etc. Can someone help me? Maybe give me good tips? |

I have Photoshop! 
Well I stink at layouts and that stuff so I'll help you make avatars/icons!! Hmm...maybe I could write you a basic tutorial on how to do basic stuff in Photoshop. Would you like me to do that for you? |

well, i guess you can search the web on tutorials and stuff on how to use photoshop. Or you can buy those tutorial books on it, which i hear do help alot. I use photoshop but I am not like a master at it  . |

i have photoshop as well ^_^ and i love it..sometimes though it gets frsutrating with hwo much time u need for an ok looking sig ~_~
the basic technique at graphics used by most people around forums is the "blending" - some pics put nicely together in a single pic along with some effect on top..lets see what lainay will pressent |

Yes I do. You need an animation program for that though, like Adobe Imageready. |

| Well it depends on the layouts you wanna make. I myself ain't really good with the latest effects and brushes cause my photoshop is an old version (6) but I do pixel which is a form of art too. |

I'm just learning how to use photoshop now, thanks to kazfz actually.
Not that it applies to this thread anymore... sushislice is gone I think. |

I've been using Adobe Photoshop since uh...about 4 years back? Before that I used Jasc PSP. I've been webdesigning for about 7 years, so yeap. I just find Photoshop a lot more versatile.
But IMO, PSP 7 is the best, everything after that was such a rip off Photoshop, and it doesn't even save in high quality. Poo. |

I use photoshop cs2, and it works great for me. I do all my stuff on a mac, kind of grew up around them =) |

It's all well and good to design a nice layout in Photoshop, but you have to be able to turn it into a usable site, and for that you really need to know HTML and/or PHP.
I did my sig with Photoshop, it's actually the header image of my Ai fansite http://www.jidolsource.net/aiotsuka/
