She can't hear you from here.
By the way, it's "-chan", not "-chin". I dunno where some of you guys got "-chin" from. |

Stormchild, it's the thought that matters. Should we stop buying her CD because she'll never know you're the one who buy it? Should we talk bad things behind someone because they'll never hear it?
The Ai-chin thingy is invented by Ai herself. She called herself Ai-chin, so are her Japanese supporters. It's a term only true fan will use. Take a look here, notice how -chin ちん is used in the happy birthday notice. Still don't believe, search 愛ちん on Yahoo! and see what you get. |

Relax. Go outside once in awhile and get some fresh air. There's really no point in taking everything so seriously.

Well I must not be a "true" fan then, since I don't spell "chan" wrong. And here I was, thinking that liking her music is what made a person a fan, not collecting useless trivia. Hey, I bet you know her great-grandmother's favorite color too. Now that's a true fan!
Anyway, the "chin' thing is a little strange, but then, so is everything else in Japan. The word is definitely "-chan" (look up "chin" in a Japanese dictionary, and "see what you get"). Notice that you can change "chan" to "chin" by just being lazy and dropping the small "ya". Maybe it's the same as "sakuranbo" then (the word is actually "sakuranbou") -- a lazy misspelling. Or maybe there's some other reason.
Who knows. Who cares. |

Aren't you the one who get serious all of a sudden and tell Jason "she can't hear you from here"? I mean, come on, who doesn't know that, your reply doesn't help anything but have this "are you stupid? she can't hear you" message hidden within your reply, which is certainly not very nice, whether you actually mean that or not.
And I don't enjoy your "Go outside once in awhile and get some fresh air" reply, it's sarcastic and that's mean. |

No, I wasn't being serious at all. I was just joking around. That's why I added the "winky" icon right after it. <-- see?
I think we just misunderstood each other.
I sent you a private message. We're all Ai fans here, so let's work this out. |

as eyn said this was a nickname that ai gave to herself, that's probably why you won't find this in the dictionary. i guess is kind of like when ayumi started to refer herself as ayu.
i didn't know ai called herself as ai-chin, thanks for that info! |

Yes, I understand that.
Of course, she can spell it however she wants...it makes no difference to me. I was just explaining why I mentioned it in the first place. |

Don't worry, I think it was just a misunderstanding. I sent a private message and I'm sure we'll work it out. |
