I just finished The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini and it is just absolutely fantastic. So poignant and gripping; I only wish I read it sooner, since the author came to my city about two years ago.

I'm currently re-reading a favorite of mine, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. As always, I find it really thought provoking Love

you probably heard of 'Memoirs of a Geisha' the movie. the book is also very good.
when i was reading it, i saw in my mind a peacefull place. a traditional teahouse with a garden. a soft stream, a beautifull cherryblossom, a soft wind. in the room there's calm, with tea at our sides XD it's a beautifull book.

i just finished the last book, Straken, in the trilogy The High Druid of Shannara. I've read every Shannara-book there is (except the latest one) and i really like them. the author is Terry Brooks, if you want to know. and it's fantasy.
there wasn't as many that died in this one as in the last trilogy The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara (which is better imo), but it was a very good trilogy anyway. Giggle

I'm reading Paint It Black by Janet Fitch. I was excited for this release when I heard about it. Her debut novel, White Oleander was awesome. Janet Fitch has a real talent for putting words together. I'm hoping that this book will be half as good as her first. Love

If you like fantasy/satire, you should read the Discworld series by Terry Pratcheet. The first book is The Colour of Magic.

And if you didn't notice, the author is british, so the book can be a bit difficult to read (he likes to use long words), but it's a very very funny book and the series is very good as well. A lot of the books he writes are commentary of real life situations and ideas.

The only Holocaust book I can remember is Night by Elie Wiesel.

Right now I am reading

C By Discovery 4th Edition.

It's an interesting story about the inner workings of a complex world called Program. In every chapter there are new characters with weird names like printf, strncpy, and %d that help the main character (you) become the master of C a magical ancient language made years ago by the Programmers of B.

But of course every story has a villain. He goes by the name of "error". Every time he shows his ugly face the main character is forced to make a life or death decision on which line to debug before time runs out. If he doesn't find the correct line then it will mean doom for the whole world of Program.

I can't wait for the next book.

C By Discovery 5th edition. From what I hear, It'll be just like the first one, but with less grammatical errors.

$116 so get it now while it's still cheap.

Lol, just kidding.

(I wish I had time to read real books.)
