I wait a while until prices come down or if its a sale. But price is always first. Because I'm a real cheap-person XD. Because school is so expensive and my friends make me realize they're so friggin rich I don't appreciate what I buy anymore.
But next would be the artist. I would go to the artist section, look at the price. Sigh. or cry. or moan. and then the tracklisting. Check how much money I have. If I don't have enough, i hide it at the back of the stack and wait for next time XD |

i hardly buy cds
and if i do i will only buy those that will support my idols
i want my idols to be able to continue in the music industry
i won't buy fake ones just b/c they are cheaper
i want real genuine things b/c 10 years down the road i can say i love ai's music and i love it now  |

| i not really on to buy cds, i usually donwload from the net . if i do want to buy a CD, 1st thing i do is download the album or single from the net, listen to it and if the song or watever satisfy me, then only i buy the cd. but there is another thing when i buying a cd, i go test the cd at the shop to make sure its not bootleg and lastly, i buy the cds to support my idol |

Hm......... The first thing is probably the artist... but also as long as it is not crazily priced!!! (for example, Ayu's Arena Tour 2005 Japanese Version. $85AUD  )
The cover I don't really care about.... as long as I like the artist... if the cover is pretty, well thats a bonus!
Some people also buy albums when they give away free items..... I HATE THIS. In Hong Kong, a main reason Twins sells so many albums is because they give away stupid things like two minute noodles, towels, cosmetic products, pens, hair clips.... They sell albums on the basis that they give away extra things. Take these away, and they wouldn't sell that much. |

Well me i'm buying them because it's from my idol. I don't really care about the price. It's not because i'm rich ( in fact i'm student) but it's not like they release something every week. So I buy first then, after that, I try to find the money... lol
I done that for love cook : I ordered the 3 version one month ago. I didn't care about the money at this time. I'll see later!  |

Heh, I haven't replied in this thread yet, cool! For me, I buy CDs mainly because they are from the artist I like. So far I've gotten mostly Ai Otsuka and Ayumi Hamasaki's CDs and albums. I don't have much CDs of other artist, just a few, usually their best-of album, or limited edtion, like BEST OF SOUL from BoA. 
I already don't have enough money just for Ai Otsuka releases, so it's hard for me to get other stuff. When I start working, this situation might change, and I might be able to afford more. For now, Ai Otsuka alone is good enough. |

hmm, i will always consider the price first ,some of the single of ai is reali EX so mostly i have da wait for the price to go down its hard for student to own so many single  first of all we dun earn money and we have to save up our allowance to get that ,so i'll onli get the album of the artist and some of the single i like eg:smily |

i think it should be the things that come with it...i really want to get something limited adition...LIke ai0chan's Love cook picturebook....if im only for the song, might as well share the cost with my crazy ai-chan fans
not that im not supporting ai-chan but its rude to spent my parents money since im still studying and not working |
