I like Ai's voice! In ballads her voice is so soothing, and in more upbeat songs her voice is so cheerful. Another thing that I would like to add about Ai's voice is that I think it's quite easy to recognize; there's just something about her voice when she is singing that I can just know it's Ai even if I don't know the song (is is her techinique...I really don't know). I don't don't like Ai's voice if computer effects were added into it (is that the proper way to say it?) like in Happy Days. (it's just my problem) For some reason I found that a bit annoying...and even weirder, I like how it was altered in Ramen 3 fun cooking when she was singing "Raaamen!" in the beginning  |

I wouldn't say ai-chan's voice is "squeaky". people have to understand that while singing songs like "sakuranbo", "SMILY" or "Bidama", you voice HAD to sound a bit "squeaky". that's what makes a cute song "CUTE".
when a-chan sings a ballad, her voice is relatively different, much more smoother. I would say her voice is not bad and she is improving on her singing skills. |

| i think her voice isnt *squeaky* but cute!! i think ayumi's voice is of a more higher pitch compared to ai-chan's. *no offense to ayumi's fans* |

| Mmm... I'm not a big fan of Ai's voice. I just find it ok, but I'm more into the songs themselves. |

| I think Ai's voice is wonderful. Squeaky? Definitely not. Her voice is high pitched of course. But in a different way than Ayu's voice. I'm a fan of Ayu and I agree that Ayu's voice is squeaky. |

In the first and second album,
they put me feel Ai's voice is more sweet but less adultness.
But after "Cherish", i change mind.
I discover in different she can reveal different tones |

the first time i sent ai's song to other people...
he said her voice gave him a very good impression...
ai has a traditional Japanese voice..very attractive!!
in my view..i think ai voice is cute and "tasty"=V= |

愛さん has her own style, and definately own voice. I love her voice, but that is not why I have began my interest in her music. (I love 中島美嘉's voice, though. Even though she does not write her own lyrics, etc.) I admire those artists that can write their own lyrics (that make sense  ) and even more if they can create their own music!
愛さん is no doubt one of them! Her lyrics are so original. And her own voice is nice and cute, but does not squeak. She can also turn into a soft-sounded singer of Ballads, which is very talented. Her voice is absolutely original- I have never heard any artist be so open with such a cute voice...they usually try to go for the nice mature professional voice. |

| I really loved her voice. The reason I started listen to her is because she has such a sweet voice, and her voice is still strong when she sings high notes. That really attract me. I like it that she can sing the cute style and the melody style so well. |

i think Ai's voice is unique, and i enjoyed listening to her music. I have a few of her albums, and each singer has their own uniqueness and style. Ai's music can be playful like Smily, or more serious like Planetarium.   |

| I personally think its cute~ And it's good for ballad song too. Usually I don't listen to such slow ballad songs ever, but I guess only now I listen to Ai's cause I think they sound good with her voice ~~ |

First of all, no offence to anyone here. It just my opinion here:
Ai's voice in ballads, no doubt is good and nice to hear cuz she has the nice vocal but when she sang those happy-go-lucky songs, her voice will become very childish where I think very cute but sometimes really annoyed in so situation. Sorry about that but I prefer her vocal in ballads more to happy-go-lucky type of songs |

| hmmm... voice a bit childish is still very cute ye.... she got the thing for singing n i think she really sings her songs very well.. her cute voice add spices to the songs n make them unique.. |

| When I first saw Ai...she didn't look like she would have her voice at all o_o. It was a bit strange, but I think she has a very unique voice. Although it's kinda squeaky, she pulls off slow and emotional songs really well. She's very talented ^_^. |
