There was a time I listened to heavy metal, Scandinavian bands especially and now I have kinda sentiment to that type of music But I still like Apocalyptica, though it's not real heavy music. Hahah, the funniest thing to me, was that some members of my family thought about it it's a satanic music, what is of course a crap |

Apocalyptica, thats a very good finnish band i used to listen that too at times they make very good covers from bands like (metallica etc and they play with cellos thats very hard to play i guess. |

I listen to Nine Inch Nails sometimes. I did more when I was younger... I've grown out of their music a bit. I would like them a lot better if there was more variety in the lyrics and Trent wasn't so self absorbed. |

ok. i dont think the lyrics is the "important thing" about nin, but i think the music is.
i love the way he is making a beautifull melody out of just five or six different sound by tweaking them until beyond recognition.
the music is so simple, but still so complex.
i think the fragile is tehir best album, but im also very found of the downward spiral. |

ok, i watched them play at roskilde in denmark 98. the only reason for me to go to rosklide was to see marilyn manson, but they cancelled the same day they were gooing top play.
the biggest dissapointment of all times.
but i did see a lot of good bands like soulfly, backyard babies, iggy pop, coal chamber, kraftwerk and beastie boys,.
so it was all bad after all. |

| Oh Slayer is pretty awesome. I saw them a few years ago on the Ozzfest that had Judas Preist, Black Sabbath, Bleeding Through, Lacuna Coil, and others on it. It was pretty awesome... but you could tell Slayer was disapointed with the crowd responce. The crowd was not moving at all because everyone was tired already. It was the hottest day that summer or something. It was a fun day anyway. |

my favourtie black metal band is still Cradle of Filth, where all the songs i can play my guitars are from this band...
Slient_noise listen to slipknot and korn too?
I just bought Korn's See you on the other side, imported version. It costed me RM63.50, which equivalent to 42 cans of Coke. And also Slipknot's 9.0 Live, RM 42.90, 29 cans of Coke... i use as the unit in this case for clearler contrast...
The albums are quite ok. Korn has changed a lot since the guitarist HEAD gone to Jesus Christ.
Slipknot's Live album is awesome, really awesome...
Anyway i have never listen to 9 inch tail. So is the band a Nu Metal band or...?
I prefer black metal nowdays. Any recommendation other than Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir? I know these 2 are mainstream black metal, but whatever... |
