May I know what are you trying to do? There's a bad example like yours, who started a new thread with only 3 lines. Yours is even worst , and you're not considered a newbie in channel-ai. I giving you a day to edit your post by making it looks like a official thread. There is a great example here so you will know what to do with this thread. |

It is good you did something, but for the biography, that's not a good idea to fully copy from any other site, or else that would be no difference by looking at her official site. At least you should post your own review for her songs or any films that she participated. If you really want to start up a official thread, this is what you should do. |

What's that for? btw, please do not double post when you are the last poster within 12 hours, read the rules, I'm really frustrated because people keep making the same mistake again and again. I think I have to implement a week of ban for people who break any rules when they are obviously not newbie anymore. People just don't care about the rules when they think they can get away with it.
As Jason said, do not copy everything from another site, this is considered as plagiarism and is not tolerated here. If you want to make an official thread, add in your own information and opinion about the artist, don't make a new topic and let it die because you yourself do not care about it at all. Nobody will bother to reply a thread without a soul. |

What we want is make every thread look nice and neat, so members will like to give some feedback after they read them. Maybe you did start up some kind of similar thread in other forums, but that doesn't channel-ai should follow.
Delete this topic? Actually we don't really like to delete any topic, except those meaningless thread. What you have to do is just post your own comments about hilary duff, tell us why you love her. Share some songs that you would like to recommend for us(ie those songs you uploaded) with telling us why you recommend these songs. This will helps you to build up your writing skill too, members who read this thread will appreciate and give you some feedback too(just like our blog). |

So that's all you have to say? Delete the topic? If you created a topic, be responsible for it. You're the 2nd person that asked me to delete a topic he/she created, and I don't really like that.
What I'm stressing is do not create a topic without meanings. Yes, other forum might not care about what their member post, but Channel-Ai is different, I just don't want this forum to turn into some trash where people come here just to leech stuff (we still have leechers problem, but since the server has lots of bandwidth I'll leave it as it is). I want people here actually get to know each other through quality posting, that's what a forum is supposed to be (at least that's how I see it), and yes I'm a perfectionist.
Read the rules and you can find that Channel-Ai is totally different from some of the forums you might frequent. Useless thank you posting is not required, that pretty much show you the spirit behind this forum, that is if you wanna post, make it a good one. Do take note that I'm not asking you to write professional stuff using fancy words etc, it's just as simple as expressing yourself clearly, telling others what you think about the topic, video posted or music uploaded.
I don't want this forum to be huge with lots of useless posting, I rather it be small with quality stuff. Hope you understand. |

yuko, those stuff you added are directly copied from another website, are they not? Nobody say they are not sufficient, what I'm pointing out is:
1. You should include your own opinion, e.g. why you like this artist?
2. Do not copy everthing directly from websites, why not just put a link there for people who's interested
It all started because you once again started a topic with only 1 line of description after several warnings about it. Honestly, we admin do not have time to go and edit every single post to make them more informative, it's the original poster's responsibility. I'm also sick of people not reading the rules and keep making the same mistake, that's why I don't want you to think I'm too easy going by sounding soft in my reply.
Those topics you posted above are considered okay even though they are not the best. Remember, there's always bad topics floating around, if you think you can do a better job than me to eliminate them, show me how you would be able to do that.
Your example shows people what should be done and what shouldn't, which I think is healthy for the community to become a better one. I think what you should do is to express yourself better by telling people what you feel about something (like Hilary Duff in this case), remember a forum is a place where people express their opinions, not just stating a fact like "I like Hilary Duff" and not tellling people "Why". |

Please don't worry about this, nobody will mind about this. My English is bad too, but at least I did try to write some articles in order to improve my writing skill. You have a good start, once again check out our community blog and hopefully you will get some ideas to write your own review for Hilary Duff's songs. |
