I’d like to inform you on yet another inactive Hello! Project Unit: Aa! Yes, the groups name is titled Aa! The group is composed of 3 girls: Reina Tanaka of Morning Musume, and 2 Hello! Project Kids- Miyabi Natsuyaki and Airi Suzuki. At the time of the units activity (October 2003, with only 1 single), Reina was 13, Miyabi was 11, and Airi was at the very young age of 9.
Their first and last single, titled FIRST KISS, is a midtempo R&B song. The outfits are eccentric overalls with chains and multi-colored hats. The bside, Masayume, is a slower song which is full of emotion.
Even with their young ages, Aa! is quite a good group. If you would like to see who sings what, and want to see a translation, Project Hello is a great source. Here are the FIRST KISS lyrics and the Masayume lyrics.
Summer (ish) Shuffles: 2004 The shuffles for 2004 were different in all ways possible. First of all, as an anniversary of H!P's 7 years in existence, the WHOLE Hello! Project, even the Hello! Project kids, formed one mega unit called the H.P. All Stars. They released a single together called ALL FOR ONE & ONE FOR ALL! Let's see how they did...and how they managed to all fit on one stage (46 people!)......
ZYX This group is made up of 6 people: 1 of them Mari Yaguchi, of former Morning Musume glory, and the other 5 are Hello! Project Kids: Erika Umeda, Saki Shimizu, Maimi Yajima, Momoko Tsugunaga, and Megumi Murakami.........
Berryz Koubou Berryz Koubou is a pre-teen/teen Hello! Project group that currently consists of 7 members. They already have a whopping 9 singles, 2 albums, and 1 special short "best" album since early 2004. They are pretty much the most active Hello! Project group as of right now, and are getting more and more popularity with each new release. ......

Gomattou Gomattou is a one time unit in the Hello! Project. It consists of Maki Goto, Aya Matsuura, and Miki Fujimoto. Their style is very R&B. You should definitely give Gomattou a go! (and a mat, and a tou!)......

Airi’s voice was so cute when she was little! But now her voice sounds a bit werid but still good. Miyabi Didn’t get enough lines in this song :( She is the best in Buono to me :)
Airi was very cute when she was younger, but now I would have to say she is my least favorite singer of Hello! Project. I really like Miyabi now :) I miss this group. Reina, favorite in Morning Musume, Airi, favorite in Cu-te, and Miyabi ,favorite in Aa!, Berryz, Buono, and all of Hello! Project!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the article, Lalanana hime! For some odd reason, I enjoy the 2nd song more than the first song, maybe I like the emotional melody of the b-side more.
I’ve always wondered why these H!P groups usually have very short life, for example many of them release only 1 or 2 singles and then they are like gone forever? Is is Tsunku’s idea to have lots of groups and none of them can stay around long enough?
Maybe you can disect the business plot behind all these H!P groups if you know any of them, and I’m wondering who actually buy these singles, when you know it’s likely that there will be no 2nd single.

The trio of Reina, Airi, and Murikamaki Megumi did a song on the H!P All-Stars single which I like to consider Aa! version 2.
