  Wow!

  Apparently, Berryz next single has been previewed. Its named ‘Tsukiatteiru no ni Kataomoi’. There is a preview of it up on Veoh. Sounds very poppish. On a side note, Morning Musume’s latest song is very pop aswell, maybe Tsunku’s turning around. xD

  I thought ‘Sayonara Hageshiki Koi’ was their next release. o.o

  Wahooooooo!!!! I just won the “Fly High” Single V By ZYX!!!! (Cost me $2.99) Remember that group??? (Remember what I said about temporary groups??) I think there were only two releases before they formed Berryz… I believe this was the first one. I can’t wait to see it! Saki and Momoko were something like 8 or 9 years old then.

  I miss Maiha too.

  But hopefully she’ll come back next year. I mean, she did go to a private middle school to ‘focus on her studies’, right? I’m not to familiar with the Japanese schooling structure, but Cap. Saki graduated from Middle School recently, so does that mean they all will soon?

  Well… I never meant to imply that “The Possible” wasn’t the group name, but mark my words, it has temporary written all over it. The group obviously serves the same purpose as H!P Kids… i.e. a place to keep the new talent while they serve primarily as backup dancers and decoration until you decide who to keep and what to do with them.

  Dammit! I still miss Maiha… wonder if we could convince them to bring her back in a shuffle group??? Kago Ai too!

  Yeah, I have heard of ‘The Possible’, although I thought that was their actual group name, not the sect of H!P that they were apart of.

  Actually…. I don’t think I’ve seen Berryz Koubou, or anybody else, referred to as the Hello Project Kids for quite awhile now that you mention it. Five minutes ago ( I think) the newest addition was being called “The Possible” instead. You can bet that there will be a steady stream of new young talent appearing with various temporary new names for as long as the fans keep showing up. ( and I’ll be there!)

  Okay… I know I am going to regret this… but I am going to share three important names for true believers. I have selfishly guarded this information while I built my collection… but the truth is that by now I seem to have everything but an actual member of Hello Project in my collection. ALL of the following have earned my utmost trust and admiration for their ability to find rare and hard to get fanclub items, tour goods, concert keepsakes,etc. and by keeping an untouchable reputation for quality and service. The ONLY reason I am doing this is because I owe it to them and Berryz Koubou to share this information.

  Go to eBay and run searches for aigokoro, iluvhelloproject and cleargood72. Each of these three maintain eBay stores and are willing to search for requested items. I am not posting their email addresses here… but eBay provides a way to send them email for questions and specific requests. Please be sure to be prepared to pay for the items you request and try not to waste their time out of idle curiosity. I consider these people as valued friends and they have earned the respect of hundreds of fans just like me. Be sure and mention my name… it won’t save either of us a dime but I’m sure it will at least cause a smile or two. : )

  aigokoro is Adriana Chung. She lives in Macau and her eBay store is Little Wing of Hope. She is a sweet friendly person and a dedicated fan.

  iluvhelloproject is Cliff Hau. He is a teacher in Japan and speaks perfect english. His store is Helloproudland. A really nice guy and also a dedicated fan.

  cleargood72 is Ohta Shigehiro. He lives in Mie, Japan and runs Japanes ArtistGoods-Souvenir Store. His english is quite good, but please be sure your requests are clear and limit the use of slang or idioms that might be confusing. This is the guy who found the Berryz autographs and quite a few other really rare items in our collection!!! Even used items several years old are ALWAYS flawless. He is very particular about his reputation and it is well deserved!

  If you happen to score an unbelievable item, like the autographs, please post so I will know just how much to regret sharing my secret sources! : )

  Wow~

  I haven’t been here in ages! Been sucked into the vortex known as Morning Musume (Yes, I saw Berryz first ^.^). But, yeah, I’m so glad Yurina got her solo PB. Makes me want the others so much more. But imagine if Miya and Momo get another before the last three girls. ;_;

  Whose thinking that Berryz and C-ute need to be ‘graduated’ out of H!P Kids? I mean Cap. Saki and Erika Umeda are older than the youngest member of Morning Musume… I know they are still supposed to be aiming for the younger demographic, but they can still do that in H!P.

  That would be the one! (Thanks, Any!) I was wondering which members of Berryz were involved. I do hope they aren’t about to start monkeying about with the group too much… I’m STILL not over missing Maiha ( and Kago Ai from W )!

  By the way… I found Yurina’s complete photobook including the Making of DVD already posted on one of the newsgroups in Hi-Res scans. Each page is about 1.5mb !!! As a matter of principle, I always buy everything I download like that ( and I wish to urge all of you to do the same… please ) to combat the costs of piracy to my beloved idols… but I must say they are superb for making posters! (If Hello Project ever offers posters of them, I promise to destroy mine and buy them! ) I can’t believe it took them so long to see what a knockout she is. I mean really… Risako’s second book came out before they got around to Yurina???? And where the heck are the rest of the girl’s books????

  Yurina’s first picture book is finally out!! Wow!!! You HAVE to see it!

  From where I sit… Yurina is well on her way to being one of the most beautiful women in the world. I will admit I am more than a little biased in favor of Asian women and that I have a soft spot for all the Berryz girls… but really… take a look and then you tell me. My heart still belongs to Saki… but Yurina is gonna be a red hot stone melting heart breaking fox or I’ll eat my collection of their CDs. They shouldn’t have waited so long to do the picture book, but it sure was worth the wait!

  I see where Hello Project has apparently formed a new group with members from Berryz and C-ute. Does anyone know the details on this??????

  But it’s all good. Plague, The new song sounds AWESOME! It sounds very angsty and rock-like. Rock/Pop. It’d make a good intro/ending for an Anime.

  Haha wow, did everyone find out about Berryz via Youtube by accident? Well, add another to the list. I just discovered their awesomeness like 2-3 weeks ago while looking on Youtube for some Hare Hare Yukai videos when I saw someone with a Jiriri Kiteru dance video in their favorites.

  I’m rather new to the whole J-pop thing (and JPN music in general) - only listening to OPs and EDs in anime, but I have a feeling Berryz Koubou has started something new for me. =)

  I really love Anata Nashi de wa Sekite Yukenai and Munasawagi Scarlet the best, so I’m trying to gather the funds to buy all of their stuff. I’m not yet used to the expensiveness of importing and paying $40 a DVD and $20-ish for a CD, but it’s for a good cause!

  Anyway, can’t wait for the next CD. I hate pre-ordering stuff but I just might. =)

  And I agree with you alot about Chinami’s and Yurina’s duet of ‘Nicchoku ~Geinoujin no Kaiwa~’. I thought they looked like models. x3

  I had to go back and watch Koi no Jubaku again after that last one… twice… and all I can figure is they must not speak true english in the outback or you need to have your eyes checked. What would possess ANYONE to say something like THAT about the beautiful Maasa???? Surely you know she was dressed and made up for effect… and I STILL can’t see what you’re talking about! You’re not one of those people are threatened by and instantly attack anything unfamialar to them are you?? ( And Plague IS likely to take a potshot at ya’ after that Momoko crack!) : ) I am mostly kidding… but why do people say thoughtless things like that????

  On a serious note… the recently released ” 2007 Sakura Mankai Berryz Kobo Live - Kono Kando wa Nido to Nai Shunkan de Aru!” DVD of the Berryz April 1, 2007 live performance is the BEST YET! There are 28 numbers and all the hits are in it. It’s available at both CDJapan and YesAsia.com and well worth the money! From start to the tearfilled Bye Bye at the end, it’s a Berryz fans delight.

  The girls are really growing up fast… as becomes achingly apparent when Chinama and Yurina hit the runway for their duet at the beginning of chapter 11!

  Some of you know that I recently came into possession of an autographed limited edition card signed by all 8 original members. You can imagine how pleased I was to find out that not only is the realdeal… but under a flouroscope, you can still see their fingerprints on both sides where they passed it down the line for signing. I am in the process of mounting it in a frame that incorporates the proper lighting to reveal them and allows viewing from front and back. I wish I could clone it… it seems like something that should be shared and admired. Needless to say, it is the center of our growing collection!

  I love Berryz so much! And I was hell excited when I saw other Aussie Berryz fans! :3

  I stumbled upon Berryz one day, watching J-Rock clips on Youtube. First song I saw, was ‘Koi no Jubaku’, and I thought it was the stupidest, most ridiculous thing ever. (Not to mention how rank Maasa looked in it. D: )
  But then, I kept coming back and rewatching it, until the tune got stuck in my had, and I went from there on. :D My favourite songs are:

  As for teh Berryz themselves, Maiha was of course my favourite, but she left. D: I saw the Berryz as three groups: The Three ‘Cute’ Berryz, the Three ‘Elegant’ Berryz, and the two ‘Cool’ Berryz. Maiha was Kaccho ee! xD And when maiha was there, they all seemed cooler in general, now they seem older, and I don’t like it. =S

  Miyabi and Saki come second and third, with Yurina and Chinami being fourth and fifth respectively. Maasa, Risako and Momoko to finish up. Shoot me! I’m not a huge Momo fan! >.

  I love Berryz, they’re so awesome!!!!
  My favourite songs are Love’s Spell (Koi no Jubaku) and Special Generation (Suppesharu Jenerashon)
  It’s a shame that Maiha left, I quite liked her. Anyways aside from that I really, really, REALLY love berryz koubou with their cute suits and awesome choreography they’re just the cutest thing!!!

  AND OH MY GOD!!!

  cute girls dancing and singing so well!!!! IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?!??! oh yeah it is Japanese…lol

  Yeah from then on loved them ever since!!!!!

  seriously all of them can really dance well in the videoes and have great voices!! Love them all!!!

  my fav berry is Risako!! shes just so cute!!!!!! love her voice and how she can look so cute and mature!!

  Miyabi and Momoko are also cute too!! =P

Each one of us have their different favorite & crushes….me? my fav is Momo & my crush is Yuri……seems simple right? but now considering the different deep factors & reasons “WHY” its being that way……

  ~I don’t have any idea if they are the ones who really recieves thoes fan letters being sent by us fans or their just getting piled up as unread messages in the some co-fans like us who claims that they are worth seding for……..I just want to think it this way, ‘WE’ are the fans & they are the ‘best’ ….noting more noting less…

  There was a poll at Hello Project to vote for your favorite member of Berryz… may have been part of a contest, but I can’t read Japanes very accurately and now I can’t find the link. It was in the news section and probably expired before I could tell you about it.

  I am a big fan of Saki, because you can always see in the vids that she is giving it everything she’s got. She is NOT Captain just because she is the oldest! She’ll be plastered with perspiration and never slow down the slightest bit. ( Plus, she’s adorable.) So I voted for her without a second thought.

  It was a blind poll where you don’t see any results till you vote and can only vote once, but then, you get the current results immediately after you vote. I figured, since everyplace I go Miyabi’s and Risasko’s photos seem to be posted about 4 to 1 that one of them was probably leading…

  Nope…. little Saki had 49% of the vote. More than three times her closest band member’s votes. ( Which was Momoko) !!Go, Saki!!

  ( I have never REALLY been able to pick a favorite… makes me feel like I’m letting one of them down!! I still miss Maiha.)

  Final note: I read somewhere that Chinima was concerned that she wasn’t going to be able to pull off the transition someday to- and I quote- “sexy solo artist”. Someone really needs to tell her, with that smile and those long legs… NOT to worry. : ) And along those lines… a lot of the attention seems to focus on some girls more than others. I know I’m not the only one that feels that EVERY girl there is equally essential. I guess I have decided myself to back Saki when push comes to shove… but I want it on record that I would not be happy if we lost any one of them!

  Have to agree with Aguzz to some extent…
  Also look at the girls in C-ute. Not surprising that H!P would stay with a plan that works so well.
  I didn’t speak a word of Japanese when I first saw these girls… and only a few I picked up by listening to the songs now… but H!P is addictive! I have almosts al the Berryz’s DVDs and CDs now as well as some by GAM, W, Morning Musume… there is no end! (Not to mention the photobooks and fanclub only DVDs!!)
  cdjapan STILL has the third Berryz album with the beach shoes, beachball and limited edition photobook by the way! YesAsia has the most complete list, and shipping is free on most orders, so it’s usually the best deal going.
  Our loyalty and admiration is almost equally split among all the girls, but dear little Saki is Captain of our hearts and probably always will be. Her dedication shines in every performance.
  A word about Ishimura Maiha… who we also loved dearly and sorely miss. Sorry, but she didn’t exactly “graduate”. She was neither oldest or youngest. If that were the case, where do you think the others would be by now? She certainly didn’t go on to university studies at such a tender age. I think maybe her grades were suffering.
  I have always hoped she would return but, sadly, even her pictures have been removed from the archives.

  which i couldn’t stop listening to. I love it so much! Then i got hooked on “Piriri to Yukou” and once again, i just can’t stop listening to it. Its so cute and happy and takes me out of a bad mood.

  I especially love Risako.

  It is a fantanstic group. I love this group very much. I discover them when my friends play their clips. I could not believe my eyes that these small beautiful young girls could sing pretty well and dance quite well. Although i am a chinese, but their song make me fall in love again with japan music because of them. Thank q berryz because you have spice up my life. Gambatte!!!! keep it up! Malaysian will support you all!!! yeah!
