Apparently, Aya overheard from two nurses that her doctor was about to be transferred to another hospital, and she thought that she's the cause of it since she showed no improvement. When she was speaking to her doctor she asked him if he's going to transfer to another hospital, the doctor said "No" which gave her relief, after that she asked her doctor if she can donate her body for research, her doctor felt grateful at first because Aya volunteered to help, but in the end he felt useless because Aya seemed to have accepted the fact that she will die because of her disease. The doctor then answered Aya not to think about those things since medical research has been trying to find ways to cure the disease. What' broke me down was when the doctor ran to his room and saw his research report (words such as "there is hope" etc were displayed) he cried, shut his laptop screen and threw the research papers beside him. I felt how hopeless he was at that time and had a thought of what if you cannot protect someone who has been expecting and trusting that you could... I would like to give kudos to those who created this series because they did a wonderful job.
