Girl Next Door will be the releasing the theme song for Birdman, which will be featured in the triple a sided single due to be released on the 13th October.
The song Capsule of Wind will be sponsored by Yomuri TV to celebrate the comeback after two years of Birdman Iwatani 2010 Special Contest.

The American television series scene is definitely something to brag about. Networks like ABC, FOX and CW keep churning quality series which have the production quality that contends with cinematic productions.
Most television series seek to keep their shows “authentic” and instil new blood in their cast, in order to retain the viewers’ attention and expand their fan-base. Although these shows’ biggest market is in the states, DVD releases and international syndications are definitely something that many producers pride in.

Kimura Takuya topped the actors list
The 30th January 2010 marked the 57th anniversary of television broadcast in Japan. Once more Oricon Style stepped in to create a poll in celebration of this occasion. People could submit their votes on those celebrities who they feel made the most contribution to television.
Kimura Takuya from SMAP, nicknamed as Kimutaku was the winner in the actor category. In fact, ever since 1993’s Asunaro Hakusho, Kimutaku has had a string of hit dramas, including memorable roles in Long Vacation and Beautiful Life. He is very deserving of the award.
In the singer’s category, ‘Showa’s Songstress’ Misora Hibari was voted first. In the comedian category, Downtown, the comedic duo comprised of Matsumoto Hitoshi and Hamada Masatoshi placed first. Many voters even complimented them for being revolutionaries in the comedy world. The most contribution by a television host went to Tamori, the host of two long-running television shows, Music Station and Waratte Iitomo.

Hamasaki at Dandy Daddy Media Conference
On Thursday nights at 9pm, starting from July 9th, TV Asahi will air the drama series “Dandy Daddy“. The story will center around the romance novelist Ryunosuke Isaki and the theme song will be sung Ayumi Hamasaki from her new single, “Sunrise/Sunset ~ LOVE is ALL ~”.
The song was composed by a new composer in Ayu’s team, Hana Nishimura and arranged by CMJK. As always, Ayu would pen the lyrics.
This marks her first theme song tie-up with a drama since the 2003 release of “forgiveness”, approximately six years ago.
Ayumi created this song as a typical drama summer theme song. Ryuosuke Isaki is the hero of this love drama and he says that he wants to sing this theme song of love. Ayumi managed to achieve this surprise. The music has delighted the staff and actors. This summer song has managed to be a perfect fit for the drama.
