After debuting successfully as a soloist, former lead singer of Malice Mizer and songwriter/singer Gackt returned with a summer single on August 1st, 2000. Saikai~Story~ was originally featured in the Mizerable mini album as an instrumental song, which Gackt later wrote the lyrics for.

HYDE of L’Arc~en~Ciel releases his third solo album “FAITH”, doing an incredible amount of research to make this album a reality. This album is heavy on Christian religious symbolism and imagery but still has HYDE’s edge. His lyrics follow suit with “MASQUERADE” of his previous album ,”666″, questioning God/god’s intention. Now, let’s see how this album fairs with his angel and devil albums before it.

Tsukiko Amano released five singles to commemorate her 5th anniversity. They were all released simultaneously on the 31st May. Each single featured a different style which she has used throughout her musical career. In the end all her promotional videos were meant to be connected. Karasu was the first single to be released from the anniversary collection.
