Two and a half years after their last album with eight members, NEWS as a six-member group released “pacific”, their sophomore album.

In 2008, Arashi had been experiencing a successful year with both a greatly successful single and an album. They released “One Love,” their second single of 2008, as the theme to the movie, “Hana Yori Dango Final”.

“Kiss ~Kaerimichi no Love Song~”, Tegomass’ 2nd single, was used as the ending theme to the Lovely Complex anime. It’s a calming and soft love ballad backed with both synthesizer and orchestral sounds.

In 2005, NEWS released their first studio album, “touch” containing their first four singles and several songs that they had used in concert performances.

Arashi’s latest single We can make it! was released on 2 May 2007, Arashi’s second single of the year and nineteenth single as a group. The single consists of three songs, one of which is featured as the theme song for Matsumoto Jun’s new dorama, Bambino!
