i find it very hard to believe that she would release a song titled "WINDING ROAD", since both ayaka x Kobukuro and YUI just did that. unless it's a cover... 
"03. Making-off shot" - i hope they mean "making of" with one 'f'.
and then the release date: 28th of May? noone releases that day. if it would've been either 23rd or 30th it would've been more believable.
and of course, it's 1st of April today.  and where did you get this from? any link?
EDIT: add porno graffitti to the list of people recently released a song titled "winding road". then there's BoA, w-inds and ayumi hamasaki too, but they did it some years ago. can't people come up with original song titles? |

Judging from the tracklists I don't quite believe in this rumour. Songs like 'Kawaii no Ai' or 'Yeah Yeah' sound too unrealistic and not Ai-like. I mean she wouldn't compliment herself in that straight way (Kawaii no Ai.....if i understand this correctly). 'Yeah Yeah!' sounds like a copy of 'ponpon'. And they shouldn't include all her latest singles after LOVE COOK. Anyway, this is just my opinion.
And IMO LOVE-chan's tracks should not be included in Ai's album also. Who'll by her (LOVE-chan's) single then? Not a good marketing plan.
That's just my opinion anyway.

| I really hope that this rumor is true. I'm already very excited about the tracklist and the PV list! I can't wait for this to come out! I'll definitely pre-order "LOVE PIECE" once it's available at YesAsia. |

I don't exactly find this credible. In the event that this does become her 4th studio album and this WINDING ROAD does get a PV in it, you almost want to assume that it'll be a new single released prior to the album. Furthermore this wouldn't make much sense since that would mean they'd have to release that single pretty early to give it some time to sell, but then that'd just get in the way of her recent best album (this is just a shot in the dark of course, I'm probably way off). There isn't any word about it on her official site either. pon pon's post here is the only other piece of info we have regarding this, but even so this isn't enough to safely assume that this will really become her next album. The whole deal just seems fishy to me.
As mentioned above, who knows how many times the name WINDING ROAD's been used.

well, apparently YUI's "winding road" is going to be released as a single after it appeared in her new album. i'm not sure about that yet, though... wiki.theppn.com says so, but i can't find any other info about it.

yeah, shouldn't it be more like "Shou Mai Neemu", now it becomes more like "Sholl My Nemul" in english. this does indeed sound very fishy imo. and so soon after "愛 AM BEST!" too. |

^ Ah I see, that is a possibility.  Thanks for the heads-up, mangomalte.
But even if this happened and the PV really is included in the album, wouldn't this just give everyone a reason not to purchase the single? Unless of course there's some exceptional first press item that comes with or it ends up becoming a double A-side. Then again we can't dismiss the possibility that WINDING ROAD could just be a b-side in the album but gets a PV, similar to what happened with LOVE MUSIC.
However I'm still in doubt. |

yeah, i also find it strange to release a single after it appears on the album (i actually hope those news about YUI are false and that it'll be a new song ). but hey, they do that all the time with western music, right? but then again you have a point about having the PV included in the album. if it's released as a single, then the PV shouldn't appear in the album imo. and as you said, no one has said that WINDING ROAD will be released as a single. it doesn't have to just because it has a PV. apart from LOVE MUSiC, cherish and kataomoi dial had PVs too. though cherish was released on that NANA album.
and i also missed this before:

it's spelled "jibun no tobira" - 自分の扉 (i just had to do that )
and what's up with all the [short film ver.]s? four of them? and so much stuff on the first press DVD? that's just weird, they ought to have moved the Frienger, Yumekui and CHU-LIP PVs to the normal press. plus that i don't see the Renai Shashin PV there.... and as someone stated before: why are the LOVE no THEME stuff there at all?
i have to say i'd be very surprised if this is true. pleasantly surprised, of course, but still very surprised.

^ Er, I had actually forgotten that a Cherish PV is inserted in the [LOVE COOK] DVD. In that case, WINDING ROAD is just a big question mark for me now. There just simply isn't enough info to make any definite conclusions about the song. Of course I still raise eyebrows at the somewhat trite title. 
That still leaves the questionability of the DVDs. What sense does it make to include both the short and full versions of the same PV? Not to mention that the tracklist seems so random and slapdash to me. |

It'd be nice if there was confirmation on a new Ai album. But I would believe this is more of an April Fools day joke, consider the date this tread is created (sorry, I don't mean to sound so mean, it's just too coincidental) and I agree with most people about the track list. I can't see Ai coming out with some of those song titles.
I'll believe it when I see it on Ai's official site. |
