Firstly, Ai-chin on 13/12's daily charts is funny since it's being released on 14/12.... but whatever >_>
Of course it beat Mika's best album.... one's been out for a week and other is a premature release...
I'm more interested in the first week sales, and then comparing that to Mika's first week sales.  |

a big congrats to ai-chin for this news and i hope that in a week, LOVE COOK can make also take the #1 spot on the weekly charts.
on the special article, they also included comments from ai and 2 LOVE COOK ads. i don't really know what ai is saying, but seeing the ads for the first time just made my day  |

"everyone watching on oricon, hello, i'm Otsuka Ai.
regarding my new album Love Cook, it comes out on the 14th of December. Following on from my previous album Love Jam and the one before that, Love Punch, this album has a completely new sound and feel to it. As for the theme for this album, it's about my own strong impressions and feelings; although there's strong feelings behind this album, it also has kind and soft tunes on it, this is both an upbeat, yet deep, thoughtfull and meaningful album, i think that you will all really enjoy this new and different version of otsuka ai ^_^. of course like always i've tried to add a little variation to the mix and i think that indeed that's what this album is like.
this time's special editions are three in total, one is the spl dvd, one comes with a picture book and the third is a photobook version. if you're wondering why there are three versions, the reason is, when albums come out different people like different things and adding everything into one package is difficult. this time there's the picture book, which is a special love-chan story which i think everyone will enjoy. the photobook has very mature feel to it i think, with a lot of pictures taken specially to be released with this album, it will be a nice visual accompliment for the album i think. as for the dvd, like all album special dvds, this one too is the same, in the dvd there are "Bidama" and "Cherish" PVs. Bidama's feeling is...um... SMILY is a very *bold chick* song that brightens your mood, whereas, BIDAMA is a little *girly chic* song about having fun in a mysterious world. Cherish's feeling is er... um.... e to, how should i explain this, its about how amazing the world becomes when you're in love and i think that this one is a really cool song with a lot emotion behind it... and many more songs like these are on the LOVE COOK album. So please everybody, for the end of the year, and next year too and then forever more, enjoy this album. *big smile, oh so kawaii* Definately...buy it..please...

wow, i havent translated and typed so fast, ever... she brings out the best in me. ^_^ gaaa...she's so kawaii... watching this made my day too... i really want my photobook version album, she says its a very nice visual accompliment to the album.... why does it take 5-12 business days to deliver >_<

I knew Ai would do well. I could tell she brought a totally different feeling and theme towards this album compared to the rest of them and i loved it.
And of course she would do well  .
I also liked the mixed varieties she added to the album and the songs were unique. It was just so perfect ^^ |

シンガー・ソングライターの大塚愛（２３）が「第１回日本ラブストーリー大賞」の特別審査員を務め１３日、都内で行われた大賞発表＆授賞式に出席した。
自身の好きなラブストーリーは「野島伸司さんの『ウサニ』」と話した大塚。理想のクリスマスの過ごし方は「寒いと思うので、ツリーを見たあとのんびりと家で過ごすこと」とインドア派。同じく特別審査員を務めた俳優、成宮寛貴（２３）は「（クリスマスは）好きな人、大切な人と過ごしたい。過ごします、とは言えないんですけど（笑）」。
同賞は「今世紀最高のラブストーリー発掘」を目標に実施。大賞は作家、原田宗典さんの妹、原田マハさん（４３）の「カフーを待ちわびて」。大賞作は来年３月に宝島社から書籍として出版されるほか、再来年に映画化される予定。

The singer-songwriter Otsuka Ai (23) annouced the winner and presented the 1st Japan Love Story Grand Prize in a ceremony in Tokyo on the 13th.
She spoke to the author of her favorite love story 'Usoni', Mr.Nojima. The people who spend an ideal Christmas, or the 'Indoor Group', are those that say "Because it's cold, it's best to relax and spend time at home looking at the Chirstmas tree" . Similarily judged by a specialist judge, artist Namiya Tsuroki (23) said, "Christmas is a time you want to spend with the person you love, the person precious to you. It is difficult to say however if you would be able to or not" said smilingly.
The awards were established aiming to look for 'The Best Love Story of the Century'. The grand prize winner was, Harada Shuuten's younger sister, Harada Mai's (43) 'kafuu wo machiwabete' (Waiting impatiently for Cafoo*). Next march, this story will be published as a novel and within the next year will also be made into a film.
