moumoon is a japanese pop-rock duet composed by vocalist + lyricist Yuka and guitarist + composer Masaki Kohsuke. The band’s name consists of the French word mou (tender) and the English word moon. Their debut mini album “Flowers” was released in 2006. Before the album, they had released a pre-debut single which featured two of the tracks included on their upcoming single. These songs were “Flowers” and “pride”.
In 2007, moumoon was signed to Avex Trax, and the second mini,”love me?” album was released. The band performed their first tv live for the song “SWEET HEART”. As a result moumoon began to steadily gathering interests and fans.

but YAY FOR MOUMOON~! 
ive liked them for quite a while now but i havent got many of their songs yet tough, theyve been pretty hard to find up until recently, and theres still a few i havent found yet. but so far my favorite is Aoi Tsuki to Ambivalence na Ai but i also like SWEET HEART and Tengoku ni Ichiban Tooi Basho |

^ I have their whole discography, just request some songs and I'll upload them. 
Anyway, I really like their music too! It's so relaxing and easy to listen to. "Refrain" contains some amazing ballads and "SPARK" was a pretty good mini for the summer season ("Summer Girl" was one of the best summer songs of 2010!). I'm not a big fan of their earlier material, but there are still some stellar tracks on their debut album "moumoon". |
