I think something is wrong with the avatar upload system. Using the method of uploading an avatar through a URL always fails when I try to upload a .png file. Everytime I tried I kept on getting this message:
Unable to upload file
DEBUG MODE
Line : 257
File : usercp_avatar.php
Can anybody help please?
Note: It seems to work with .bmp and .jpeg files but the avatar always looks like it loses quality... |

Yup, I also get this
Quote: Unable to upload file
DEBUG MODE
Line : 257
File : usercp_avatar.php
However, I think possibly the file size limit may be causing this problem. Because the image is not stored locally, maybe the admin has set the URL-avatar size lower than a uploaded one, as the time to load the image from elsewhere.... Not sure...
Anyways, here are the one's I used:
http://www.channel-ai.com/img/rinoa/momo-no-hanabira-ai.png
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/melonberryicons/AiOtsuka002.png
The second image worked for me, but then it is considerably smaller, which I am presuming is the reason why.
So, I guess uploading the image from your computer would be the best option |

When I make my graphics I always save them in JPG and they don't lose quality... ...
I select the option to save them in 100% quality and they look fine. |
