SPIN top pop of 2011 includes 2NE1, Perfume and SNSD

I was going through the January 2012 issue of the American music magazine "Spin" where they list the top albums of 2011. While we all know J and K Pop is awesome it was great to see the American press finally catching on.

This is from the top 20 Pop Music albums of 2011. SNSD and Perfume both made the top 20 list and 2NE1 number 6! On the Spin website 2NE1 also got a front page featured photo. Cool beans.

Just got this link in email to a short article online that carries a similar list from SPIN. It appears the ordering is the same, just reversed. 2NE1 had the 6th best POP album in the world for 2011. Also on the top 20 list was Perfume and of course the explosively popular Girls' Generation. Congrats ladies!
