i just wanna know by what age you guys have your first cellphone cuz i have my one when i was 11 (2 years ago) and i think it was quite fast and quite a waste of money cuz the only time i use it, is when i call my mum after school to pick me up.  and sumtimes for emergency but mostly for playing games when i have nothing much to do.
now i am using NOKIA 7260 |

| Me at 16. I was in college and my mom wanted me to call if there was an emergency but I used it a lot for friends too ^^ Now I'm using a Panasonic x66 |

| I was 15 (6 years ago) when I bought my first phone (a Nokia 6150). Then i have had 2 other phones until I bought a Sony/Ericsson K750i last month. |

I haven't gotten my first cellphone yet, and I'm 21.  I always believes that I don't need such a thing and waste money on the monthly fees etc. I do know that you can get prepaid card and stuff like that but still I'm not a big fan of cellphone, no idea why. Like even now I don't really have a desire of getting one even though their functions has become more and more fancy, even 2.0 megapixels camera for some of the cellphones.
So yeah, I'm a total noob when it comes to cellphone.  |

well...good for u then haha. now i really get addicted to cellphone. i use it a lot last month chattig with friends...waste money a lot. i feel quite bad so i changed to prepaid this month ^^ hope i can use a bit less  |

i think i was 14-15 when i got my nokia 3330..next year i got 3410, the next was 6600 and now i have a sharp gx30 for around 1 and a half years
i think cell phone isnt nesseccery to small kids at all..but when u grow around 17 its needed..the parents need to bug u when u go out with friends lol |

i got my first cellphone when i was 15 (2 years ago)basically i was going out partying alot and my parents wanted me to have a cellphone so i could call them in case something happened, i have the same phone i had two years ago, a virgin mobile phone, the brand may not be very well known since the phone only works in the U.S i think but the virgin brand is very famous here,virgin is one of the biggest cd &movie stores in USA,  |

I don't have one too. I totally agree with you I wouldn't even use it and it would be a waste of money  Everyone around me has one just to be cool I don't need a cellphone to be cool. Plus, I like my normal phone |

| yeah you dun realli need a cell phone i got mine when i was 13 for a few years then i realized i didn't need it and it wasted alot of money, sometimes i dun even call anyone at all.. but the bad thing is when u don't need a cell its there but when u realli do need it its not there! |

I was 12, just a year younger than you.
Well, everyone around me was getting a cell-phone, so everyone in my class had one. I don't use one. I generally don't like talking on the phone, so that breaks that girly stereotype. I just needed it "in case of emergencies" since, you know, I'd be taking the buses and trains by myself now in far distances. Blah...mines been dead (not charged) in months, and I'm not gonna start charging it now... |

hmm... i got my mobile phone when im 11.. the frist fone i have is samsung.. im a huge samsung fan! hehe... i've been changing fone every 2 years after my contract finishes.. im currently samsung e530c ( my friend fone) .. i use hers because my fone just went into the emergency room.. she said she's not using it so give it t me  |

If i not mistaken, i got my hp when i was 17. Nowadays those young teens like you guys are so lucky to have a cell phone.
Lotsa young girls tend to use their cell phone to call/sms somebody they don't know, i recieved such of call/sms like twice a month. Mainly bcoz my phone number is a bit special. Anyone of you like to do this too? I hope not, bcos this is kinda wasting money. |

well i get it when i was primary five which was 11 i got a Nokia 3315 well its quitea a gd phone yeah ! although its big but its veri reliable especailyl when u drop it it wuld not spoiled easily!!well i dun use contract its just waste of money
i just buy it in one shot curetnly i usin a 3g but...i lost it..sombaody stole it damn! SG school is so unsafe..  nvm maybe i get a new one after this year..so sad no phone..all the ger phone number..oh no... |
