Update 03/28:
Ai am BEST debuts 1st place on Oricon, selling 64,396 copies on the first day.

wailing got her copy of Ai am BEST already and posted booklet scans and photos.
  
She also told that the CD has a totaly of 99 tracks. Track 14-98 are silent, and track 99 is a hidden unreleased song, BABASHI.

According to Ai official site, Ai new album will be a best album titled "愛 am BEST" to be released on 3/28!! Strangely not all her single songs were included.

With all those hits, It's about time Ai released a BEST album. (Ai am best... clever)  But I guess this also means we're going to have to wait awhile more for a studio album, then, since post LOVE COOK singles aren't included?
Also by "music clip" do they mean the song's PV or an actual performance? |

i wonder how exactly we should refer to this album. the avex news describes it as which uses her "signature". is it her full name in the circle? maybe she is trying to establish a symbol for her name, like ayu.
another example of her name in this way, at a recent poster signing.
anyway, this is all rather pedantic.

btw, you should include two exclamation marks. they are part of the album title.  |

Ai am Best. Clever. Really Clever. The track-list looks kinda short though. I wish it was longer . If that symbol becomes her symbol, I wouldn't mind at all. It looks simple and lovely. Btw, does anyone not think that the symbol looks like an.."Ai approved!" symbol?  |

so we have official word this time then, so i guess this kills LOVE STORY for sure. or unless ai is really crazy.
they broke the LOVE titles...i guess it is ok since this is the best of album. but then...even her DVDs have a LOVE title. (Ok, but not as themed as the albums...) alright alright, i guess than it is acceptable. Yay Ai am Best!
yes this tracklist is not complete up until now but i won't complain. they included some of the non A-sides. Cherish!!! |

Thanks for the news! The price of the best album is 3,990yen...  I need to save money from now on... Besides, as the best album doesn't include 11th to 14th single, I still think that Ai will release her 4th album this year. But it is sure that "LOVE STORY" is a fake news. I'm so sorry that the news I posted isn't true.  |

Awesome! Thanks for the news!
I love the title! I do agree that it's kind of confusing as to how we should refer to it. "Ai am BEST!!" works for me, though.
I also think it's kind of neat how the tracklisting is in order of release date. Maybe that's normal or logical, but it just struck me as neat.
This is much more creative than any of the rumors we've heard in the past. (Though they were definitely fun to speculate about!)I would purchase this for the DVD collection alone! 
I really wish her website would change layouts. |

Wow! A new Ai album! But I'm not sure if I want to buy this though..it seems a little expensive, and since I have all the songs already...Shall wait and see what the first press is, if there is one! Thanks for the wonderful news!  |

at last we get to know something about the future! (though i'd rather see a new album packed with new songs...  ) but i guess it won't be too long until that comes either. i hope...
at first i was like.... no "frienger"? no "yumekui"? no "renai shashin"? but i guess she'll just put them in the next "best of" album.
and pon pon: yes, it's her name in the circle. the kanji for "love" (ai, that is).
now.... i'm really anxious to see the cover and promo pics for this. |

I guess Ai finally noticed what uses her name can be, lol...
But I agree on the tracks! I don't know if I will buy it yet since I mean I already own a bunch of those songs on singles/album and usually I buy a single or those when I want to hear new songs or if I really like the song, but in this case I already own the singles and album that I like the songs of. But maybe I 'll buy it for collectables...? |
