Okay, I just curious. I'm using Firefox myself and I would say it's probably the best browser out there right now, and it's free! Opera is not bad, it's faster than Firefox and uses less resources, however, Opera is not free (ad-supported) and Firefox on the other hand has a better community developing various extensions to enhance your browsing experience.
For people who are still using Internet Explorer, isn't it time to try something new? heh, just give Firefox a try, or maybe Opera, and you'll know Internet Explorer stinks so bad.
What makes me suddenly post such a poll? Nothing much, it's just that Mozilla has just released Firefox 1.0.3 with security fix. If you haven't tried Firefox yet, it's a good time to try it now.

Somehow I can't open pdf file in Firefox as it takes a very long time to load up the adobe reader. It works better when I just download the pdf and view it through the reader directly instead of read it within the browser. Not sure what's the problem though.
But still, the main reason to switch over to Firefox should be the ease of use of Firefox and its features such as tab browsing, adblock, popup blocker and mouse gesture etc. |

| True it takes a bit long to open pdf files in Firefox but it's better than IE. Plus oddly enough I keep on getting popups on IE. But eyn is right Firefox is easier to use. |

Firefox has n times more feature than IE, and IE is not secure at all because people can hack into your comp if you visit the wrong site, of course Firefox has its own security issue as well, but definitely more secure than IE.
Firefox has built-in popup blocker, which is great; tabbed browsing, which is a must-have for web browsers; RSS feed reader, which gives you the ability to add RSS as live bookmarks. By installing additional extensions you can do cool stuff such as removing ads from a website via adblock, use mouse gestures, get weather information, search dictionary, and translate a page via menu (very useful for viewing japanese materials). |
