i don't know if this has been brought up before but here goes~ after listening to Ai's songs (almost all, i think) for about 1 year straight (yea my history with ai isn't long), i am convinced she made some little changes to my daily outlook. nothing radical, it's just like finding that perfect bed that just suits you so well. you know, makes you sleep better, so you will have a great day and be more happy and thus a whole great things happens just coz of that great bed? yea, something like that.
-my exam grades got from lame lower than mediocre to above average across the board. ai tunes accompanied me during study periods. keeps me concentrated. somehow.
-NO road rages while riding my sportsbike on Singapore roads. i know it's pretty dangerous to plug in your ears while riding, but hmmm.. i feel so insanely sane even if a big gas guzzling MVP tried to mow me down just because i'm on 2 wheels with ai-tunes in my ears. (lol ai-tunes)
-an absolute: no matter what situation, there's always an ai-tune (lol) to play with. kumuriuta for encouragement, biidama for times not too feel small, planetarium for my love life, and ramen 3 pun cooking to go along when eating ramen.
-reminds me how great creatures Girls can be. just have to listen to Strawberry. or maybe i just love girls who act that way...
to give a little background, before the ai-tunes invasion in my life, MyChemicalRomance, Muse, Apocalyptica, Timbaland, etc etc, are my usual staple. not that i hate them now coz of ai-chin, they just don't feature that much in my playlists these days. |

funny how it was the complete opposite when she came into my life. Ai-chan started my whole j-pop drive...but it only lead to decreased marks during my high school year and got rejected by all 4 universities, 6 programs hence wasted $200 to get rejection letters QQ
The non-school side negative was that my first album purchase from her cost me $100CAD while the original cost was supposed to be $60.
The only positive thing it did was help me be more happy with Happy Days!.
When Perfume came into my life while Ai-chan started touring like crazy during my first year college (hence I rarely listen to her since there's nothing new happening)...my cumulative GPA is 3.4, my second semester GPA (the semester that I HEAVILY slacked off in...got a GPA of 3.6 out of 4...)
Go figure...she really does make a difference in life |

then i'm thankful to not have any Credit Card to spend it online.. ai chan is pretty much underground in Singapore, where due to it's small market, only popular acts are promoted. but i gotta say, considering that i'm more used to songs much much "heavier" than ai-tunes, she really keeps me sane (and Happy Days!) during cramming...

| I don't have a credit card, but I managed to spend over $200 on her items by asking my friend to preorder for me. You can also use Paypal, just add your bank card number and you can buy stuff from Yesasia. |

"Ai-tunes", how cute
You know, I think Ai-chin, and JPop in general has really affected my life now that I think about it.
I listen to Ai's ballad songs before bed, and I always end up going to bed quicker than if I don't listen to her gentle voice. Lately I haven't been listening to music, and I end up tossing and turning for hours. I think I've conditioned myself to it PRobably a bad thing.
Whenever I feel really crazy and stupid about having a crush, I just listen to 360, and I feel like Ai is saying "Hey, we're all crazy, we all experience this emotion, and you just can't stop." I think Ai helps me out the most with love. I'm young, and I don't think I understand any of these things. At all. Ai-chin is like my teacher, expressing these feelings in such a great and sincere way. I think I handle situations better now. |

Ai is also kind of like a teacher to me.
Every time I don't know how to put my emotions into order
I just pop my ear buds in and start listening to Ai.
Sakuranbo for when i'm happy or Kurage Nagareboshi for when i'm feeling
distant, and even Mirai Taxi when i'm feeling a bit jumpy.
Sometimes when I dont listen to her music I feel awkward and confused.
I think i'm addicted.
These days I don't really listen to other music as much as I listen to Ai's.
I just love her music soo much!
I think we're all becoming Ai addicts! |

I can't listen to her songs when when Im studying. Seriously, she'll take away all my attention from my notes. haha!
My exams were just over and during that period of stressful days, i would take a break and listen to her song for awhile.
Like if its a rainy/depressing day, i would listen to Kumuriuta, Ai, and her other famous ballads.
The song that caught my attention again after some time, is Renai Shashin. When my head gets a little too heavy because of studies and exams, i would listen to the instrumental version of Renai Shashin. It really helps to calm my nerves! I thought that this was a simple song, but now I feel that this song has a lot more in the background. The piano and strings arrangement are really good.
For this, I'm glad that i'm a fan of Ai and her songs!
P.S please take care while driving, cabal! |

hm....Ai-tunes?
Actually, her songs help me with studying! I often listen to her songs while reading my notes!
Also, cuz of her I'm playing piano again! And I'm really happy about it! I graduated form music school 3 years ago, and I completely forgot about piano at that time, but year ago I listened to Kingyo Hanabi, and I really wanted to play it!!! and my mom really enjoys listen to my playings of Ai's songs!
it helps me to fall asleep! when I can't sleep at night, I just turn on my mp3 player and play Ai songs (and some of KAT-TUN songs, but to hell with them, we're talking about Ai-chan XDDD).
her songs are encouraging for me! I got a lot of power from them! Her lyrics are amazing! and I even have some lines from her songs as motivation! I especially love Yumekui, for its beautiful lyrics! I listen to Happy Days, Smily and Sakuranbo when I'm feeling down, these songs can lighten me up! I'm learning from her songs! I think we're all learning sth from her songs! |

man, she really takes this "banishing the evil inside people and make them the good people that they were" into something... cool. haha. i dunno what to say, but most of her songs more or less have a hook on parts on my life, here and there. seems like she does that to many of us eh?
i can say i tend to like bipolar personality people (johnny depp, MCR, Ai-chin herself) and maybe coz i'm one myself (motorbikes, goggle eyed, poems, and crowd surfing and moshing and studying hard?), thus i'm very fond of her being true to herself and show both side of her in her songs. who would think SMiLY and Ningyou are both written by one "cutesy" lady?

Too sad that the Korea's fever is still blowing so strong in Singapore. Still remember when I'm still studying in secondary that SG still air JPN's drama and Music Station. I still remember that Music Station always air at midnight... Nowadays JPN drama or songs hardly even appear on SG's TV. No offence, I just dun know why Korean shows and songs can get more popular in SG. If not for the Internet, probably i'll nvr get to known Ai-Chan.
You can't believe how Ai-Chan has affect my everyday life. During my examinations, she act as a de-stresser for me. When i get to my bottleneck, Sakurabo is here to help. Just dance wildly and forget about all my troubles, always singing "atashi sakurabo!". And it turns out that I can still score very very good grades in the end. The very next thing after my grad, is to go to learn Japanese's language. I'm just so motivated wanting to be able to understand what Ai-Chan is speaking and singing. BTW, I stay in the very north-eastern part of SG, and its still very rural, so everynight when i walk home, i will play Planetarium/Kurage-NageraBoshi on my MP3, walk slowly to see the sky, enjoying while i may... haha.
Ai-Chan has completely mesmerized me. She has come to my everday life. I start off my everyday work with her upbeats song, I can't sleep without listening to her ballads. I got all her 7 concerts DVD, and pending one for the Love Letter. She is not only an idol, Ai-Chan is my motivation, someone to look up to... She just so "natural", unlike some artists who are being packaged. When you see Ai-Chan in the concert, she just what she is... You can feel that she love singing so much that she enjoying every bits of her career.
Ohh... Ai Virus has dominate my whole life. If you ask me, If my galfriend dislike Ai-Chan and ask me to choose between Ai-Chan or Her, I think I will break up with my galfriend, haha.... Hey, we should gather all the Ai's Supporter in SG, isn't it...? |

that's very true, I'm a kpop listener =X perhaps the only jpop songs I listen to are Ai's songs, and Tohoshinki's, sometimes a bit here and there.
The reason I've been following Ai's songs is because her 'natural' personality like you said. I like her for being herself.
You live in the north-eastern part of SG? Purple line? haha, that's cool. I've went there a few times and its really quiet in the night. For me, she accompanies me in the 1.5hr of bus ride to school, and another 1.5hr home. |
