well the banner should be as big as the channel-ai banner up there..and it will be used to a new theme..so better not to write our name at it
now as price i guess if it will be with money a poster or a single is a nice idea (the gift card lainay said)..if no money included mayber some certain rare downloads or so..though i want a poster 
and always there are the custom titles..a nice money-free choice lol |

Thanks for all the suggestion guys. First of all, the voting thing. I'm not sure how to implement such a feature in the normal poll option, I will need to hack the php file before that can be implemented, or I can make it a PM poll where you PM the organizer when you wanna vote, but I bet that will drive off some potential voter who doesn't want the hassle of PM someone. I'll see what can be done.
Regarding the prizes, lol, certainly there's a lot of things that can be used as prizes but I'm not sure which one is preferred. A single from YesAsia might be cool, since I can simply key in the shipping address of the winner and I can use the YesAsia associate credit to pay for the item (I don't have that much credit yet, so I might need to pay with my own money, it's okay though). For posters, I don't think I can get that since you can't get it from any online store and I don't have any poster with me right now. Even if I do, I'll probably think a little before giving my only copy out. So yeah, it's less likely to be an option. (unless someone know how I can get a poster easily for the winner)
Custom title is easy enough, but for 3 months? heh, maybe a little too long I suppose? I can make it one month for the longest. Of course, you, the winner, can pick your own custom title, as long as it's not offensive or anything.
The full detail of the contest will be released after I discuss a little with Jason and make sure I didn't miss any details. Hopefully you guys have fun, and I need more participants! (I might end up PM all the members whom I think has the skill for such contest)
P.S spyro, you taking part or no? I saw you sig, you definitely have the skills for it. |

how do we know if how many ppl will be participating... i think those banners contest shall have a theme... eyn will choose the person to give a theme and based on the theme design ur own banner...
for eg. design a banner for planetarium (we do not know how it look like so far and if the banners design is closest to the REAL planetarium banner after release that person will get a prize ) |

the single sounds neat ^_^
and yumiotsuka..i dont know about that planetarium theme..its not supposed to be based at no skill but to pure luck  also i assume that the cover will have new pics and stuff that ai hasnt posed like so far..i guess just a nice banner for a new theme will do the job  |

Just like what spirus stated, we can't vote the winner who having pure luck. Contestants can design whatever theme they want, even if the planetarium theme is totally different with the original which goin to be released, who knows yours gonna be better than the original?  |

Yeah i think the size will absolutely same size as our forum banner, in case your banner may be our forum default banner. Do you agree with me?
Each contestant should only allow to have one entry, don't you think this is more fair to those who only concentrate on one banner? |

Yes, you can use any picture you want, even your own fanart, I call this "freestyle".  Anyway, the complete rules and details will be released soon, so you can check on that later. |

i have some ideas but it all depends
maybe it should be a 1 time every 3 months thing or 2 times a year thing?
its a fun way to get member active and show enthusiasm for the forum
last time i was too busy

So will there be a revival for this contest after the singing contest or this event shall be eventually being terminated for good?
