| anyone here listens to bands like dir en grey, alice nine, and others?? well i do i think dere awesome i juss got into alice nine. |

| I don't think Dir en grey can be considered visual anymore, but yeah, I listen to them. I like alice nine, Psycho le Cemu, Malice Mizer, Kagraa. and PIERROT. But out of all of them, I listen to Dir en grey, PIERROT, and alice nine the most. |

hehe funny that u used /\ for lucifer
actually is the greek letter lambda: capital - Λ, small - λ ..u wouldnt know
so its Λucifer
i cant say im fond of visual kei at all..i think sometimes they over react for VK-fame's sake..plus most of the songs ive heard arent very easily listenable..actually bearable to listen to..many screams, weird voices, guitar and drums hard not really talended music..and goes on..thats only my opinion though |

I think it' s funny that a lot of the artists you've listed aren't visual at all.  Otsuka Ai?
visual kei itself is NOT a musical genre. It's more of "fashion band", I suppose. For instance, Psycho le Cemu's music is pretty soft, while Dir en grey is much harder. Like, a band can be visual, but not be rock, you understand? It's not synonymous with aggressive music.
Visual bands place a LOT of effort on their visual presentation and often wear elaborate outfits and make-up, etc. Some go more all out than others. Psycho le Cemu's costumes are very bright and colorful, they look like toys! While bands like alice nine will have the traditional black, studs, and lolita wear. |

| I listen to a little bit of VK myself also, but not much though. I mainly just listen to Dir en grey(some), Glay(some also), Kagrra, Kana, Malice Mizer, Moi dix Mois, Penicillin, Pyscho le Cemu, and X Japan. Theres a couple more others but I just can't think of it right now. |

I know its greek.. but.. i was to lazy to find that character in character chartXDXD and i thing /\ looks close enoughXDXD

I didnt say they were all visual.. lol Those are just bands I like. Many of which are visual^_^ I was hopeing maybe someone would see a band that I like.. and they would like them too. Visual or not. It would give us something to talk about.. Something in common.. Since the only POP i really like is Ai>_>;;

^ I wasn't directing the second part of my post to you, don't worry..  It was to the person who asked what it was, and then someone said they didn't like it because it was rough and screaming. I just felt the need to explain.
And I know what you were trying to do when you posted all your favorite bands. I just thought it was interesting that you did it in a post about visual. But it's all good.
PS: Maybe you shouldn't quintuple post. Just say what you want to say in one post instead of posting so many times. Much easier that way.  You can delete accidentals, too (like your double post on the greek letter). It keeps everything clean. |
