^ it's the wrong type of character, it's actually simplified Chinese. it should be "見" (making 見つめていたい)  |

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm so the single for Swear is slowly leaking into the Chinese communities. I can't get it though because I'm only a guest and not a member.
But from the sounds of it, there's an alternate PV for Swear ... O.o

| So the single's out. What do you guys think? I just listened to it and I still like Swear. it's pretty poppy, but I think it really suits her voice well. Beauty is much better though, because it's more distinctly 'alan', I think. |

"Swear" is ok, nothing special. Even though it's a slower pop song, I found it really catchy. I still don't like the PV, but the background chant during the chorus sounds very cool. Anyway, I think the B-Side "Beauty" is much better, even though it's not very traditional or something like that, but the chorus was pretty good. Overall, this single get's 7.5 / 10, because the A-Side isn't that overwhelming.
edit: Bad News... One the dirst day, "Swear" was able to reach #26 on the daily single charts. I guess "Kuon no Kawa" was nothing more than a one hit wonder  . |

): I wanted her to chart at least in the top 20, but...
I guess it's to be expected, since it's released in the same month her second album will be released.
I'm hopin', hopin', hopin' that the charting for my life more than compensates for Swear. Or, at least, that it peaks higher than VoE.
PS: Beauty is <3. Best B-Side since Sakura Modern. I knew there was a reason I wanted previews for it! |

BALLAD did pretty good on the charts. I know there was a time it hit top ten on the daily charts ... can't remember if it peaked at #4 or not.
I'm definitely not a fan of this single. Beauty isn't bad, but I find Swear really forgettable. I wasn't looking forward to this single all that much from the beginning so my expectations weren't that high to begin with. I just hope this single won't be what the rest of the upcoming album is like.
I've been trying to see if "My Life" (the song) has leaked via the game clips but still nothing. I hope it's NOT a Japanese version of the English song that is playing in the background of this video for the game GOD EATER

Oh, I hope not. But I think you're right, it peaked at #4, which is pretty good

I hope too for the song. I don't want a japanese version of the song from GOD EATER .
The new single is not bad but i don't like it so much . I thonk Beauty is better than Swear. And it's not a good choice for a single. we can't hear the VERY power-wonderful voice of alan.
I'm impatient to hear her new album . It will probably not be better than VOICE of EARTH, but let me hope |

Me too, I can't wait to hear her new album. I'm curious about why Nada Sou Sou isn't on there as I was really looking forward to her version being provided on disc for the first time =(
