The covers are so nice.
I think I like the CD only version better.
And as for the tracklisting, so many new songs! Yay. |

Dear alan fans, brace youselves up for a shock. Maybe it's just a shock for me, but maybe for you as well.
The previews for her album are finally out.
Sounds like a good thing, right? Actually it isn't, watch out:

Yeah, you are right. All the songs sound the same. It's like we got 5 new "Swear"'s in a ballad and in a uptempo-form. And "Essence of Me" is a electro-song. Honesty, no... This is not the alan I loved so much some weeks ago. The only interesting song is "Butterflies", but even this song sounds a bit forgettable.
Maybe I overreact, but I'm really dissapointed at the moment. I know, these are just previews (and not the full songs yet), but I just hoped for something better . |

^ i have to agree with you...
i didn't hear any wailing or any traditional chinese instruments in any of the new songs....
the songs might very well be good once we get to listen to the complete versions, but they don't stand out very much. they're not.... alan, you know?
*sigh* i was REALLY looking forward to this album. *wants another Together* |

Indeed . You can replace alan with any other pop singer and you don't hear a difference (except the vocals). The only song which stands out is "Kuon no Kawa"... |

I have to agree with mango and Crystallas, alan's new album seems pretty damn boring. The only interesting songs are "Namida", "Kuon no Kawa" and "BALLAD". And I thought "BALLAD" was boring as hell before, so take that as an indication on how worthwhile this album's going to be.... There's too many genres going on this album ... |

Okay, yes it fails in comparison to Voice of Earth but I definitely sense they are trying to go more mainstream on this album.I wonder if her management thinks that this will make her more popular?
I like VoE because it was different.
However based on the previews I'm still interested in One, Butterflies, 白い翼, the two singles that came out, and My Life. I was okay with those previews so hopefully the full versions won't disappoint me. I really liked the two singles that came out and with Nada Sou Sou in there at least that's three songs on the album that I will enjoy for sure.
But it must be a sophomore album thing. Most artists tend to experiment during their second album. I know there have been a lot of people who have said they don't want her just singing epic ballads. Now they get their wish.
I personally prefer her ballads ... |

^Thanks for the link to the PV. The PV itself is pretty/artistic. It's interested they decided to stick with those dark colors as it fits the song and the mood itself.
The song is alright. I think it'll have to grown on me before I end up liking it. Right not it's not one of her most powerful songs ... but it's not one of her worst either ... |

Thanks I really like the song, and the PV. I love the imagery, it's like Ashita he no Sanka multiplied . She appeared to be "dead" for a lot of the video, which is ironic for a song called "my life" It's really pretty. |

After watching the PV a couple of times I began to like "my life" a lot . Their are 4 songs from "my life" I like so far: "Kuon no Kawa", "BALLAD", "Namida -Smooth Jam Mix-" and "my life". To be honest with you, I look forward to this album again - a little . |

Found a rip of My Life in a Chinese community, although MU seems to be having issues today so if it doesn't work let me know and I'll try putting it somewhere else

My Life has definitely grown on me.
Track 1 and 3 has leaked

One
I can't help but feel that the first half of this album will be pretty disappointing, while the second half will be good->great |
