compared to professional tutors ($100 for 1.5 hours!?!)

That's really expensive Shocked Here tutors aren't that expensive...nobody would get one Laughing
I'm not really sure of the cost of a tutor for math or english..because I've only had music tutors..but for cello I pay $30 an hour and for piano $20 an hour, and I'm sure music tutors cost more than other tutors xD
(maybe I should be music teacher for kids Smile Giggle )

@hitomi#1: I used to teach analphabets, and that was really a hard job.
Not everyone can be a teacher, they are actually amazing people even if we hate them sometimes Laughing
I don't really have the patience to be one Laughing
It's nice that you tutor people as volunteer Smile Nod

Rotary phone? What's that? I feel like I should know what that is, but I just can't think of it at the moment.

Im just assuming...lets say the first 3 numbers are 284, you would put your finger on the number 2 hole and drag it to that point (beside the 0), let it roll back, drag the 8, let it roll back, drag the 4, etc.

but then again, that phone is older than me...so I wouldn't know

I think you may be right. If I re-call my younger childhood years, there were still a few of these phones around. I think that was how you dialed a number. I think it's pretty cool if people still have them. It's just odd nowadays since call-display or a light to indicate you have new voice mail or even wireless capabilities is common nowadays compared to like 10 years ago.

it'll become a bit difficult if you need to use the middle and end letter for each section Giggle

My grandparents still have a rotary phone...when my parents stayed there, they tried to call us using those phone cards which have cheaper overseas rates...and then they realised that it had no hash key xD
Also, what's so difficult about using a rotary phone? It's always been pretty straight forward for me...
