people don't know how to use a rotary phone? Surprised Akira Shock!!
we had rotary phones at home when i was a kid, in the end they ended up as toys for us (Tongue), but other than that, surely people must've seen them being used time and time again in movies and whatnot. i remember how annoying it would be to dial a number with a lot of high numbers, 'cause it took a long time for it to wind back...

to change the subject.... i just woke up 15 minutes before my compusory class ended. and that after handing in the home assignment that was due 1 pm at 1Meow0 am this morning (after mailing the lecturuer and explaining a missunderstanding). i feel i might be in a dire situation... or at least will be in one if i keep this up. Sad

wee! Volleyball season's done, so no more worries for me! I'm actually thinking about quitting, because I'm sick of all the drama that comes with the sport... But right now, i'm just happy to be back on Channel-Ai again Giggle

Yeah, we broke into the Top 8 of the State for the first time ever! But I didn't like my coach at all, and it was just a bad season for me emotionally, so I don't think I'll be playing with the school team again next year. But I'll still play at the rec center Smile

Thanks guys. It's nice to be back.

Ok..now to say a bit how my country sucks Laughing Laughing
We're having a lot of energy cuts No
All the energy of the country comes from hydroelectric plants...and it isn't raining on the amazon region (where the plants are).
So the reserves don't have water..and that means no enegy Blank stare Blank stare
The government is having a program of energy cuts on all the zones of the main cities on determinate hours...Yesterday I had no energy from 7 to 11 p.m. No
This really sucks, specially if they cut the enegy so late at night Blank stare

We don't have energy cuts in Canada, but I remember when I took a vacation to the Philippines. We stayed with my mom's family and every night, everyone was inside their homes by like, 8 PM. There's also no clean water, we had to buy distilled water in large containers. It was a really hard way to live Confused

He's right about the coal plants, those skies will be so dark you'll think it's midnight instead of noon. Sad Few years ago we had a mini tornado here, wiped out power for 3 days in the city, up to 2 weeks in the suburbs, don't think about things like that until you don't have them. Blank stare

Wow, that's insane. I can't even imagine energy cuts. Guess that shows how spoiled I am as an American. But I can see the upsides of an energy cut though... maybe we should have them regularly. -shrug-
