I thought this might be a fun poll. I honestly cannot remember the last day I went without listening to one or more Ai-chan songs (I think it is always more) |

So I'm on the second place, 6 months to 1 year ago. Not very bad, but not a good fan too.
The best place is: Since you're born!!
I wonder if you're older than Aichin, then what songs did you listen to? |

I loved Reggae music in highschool (Ai-chan was born already, but not yet debut)
I also listened to U2, Prince, various R&B music, and I used to like Anri (saw her concerts in Hawaii a few times) Southern Allstars, and others... I finally learned of Utada Hikaru about 5-6 years ago. She was my favorite until I found 愛ちゃん!I still ocassionally listen to these others, but none measure up to Ai-chan (Hikki is sencond and then U2). |

| every thursday i go without listening to ai just about because i have to practice bboying with my crew and music i listen to there is more bongo drums, trumpets just really funky stuff. the last time i went without ai's music though was probably 2 months ago in september when i was driving to get ready to compete for a competition being held at a university. |

where's the "today" choice?
*checks last.fm*
hmm... number of plays/week the past some weeks: 5, 1, 12, 0, 1, 0, 13, 0, 2, 17, 0, 4, 4, 16, 0, 1, 8, 0, 0, 3, 0, 30, 51, 131, 3, 0...
wow... i knew i hadn't been listening very much to her lately, but i didn't know it was this bad. 62 plays in 3 months... something needs to be done here.
i blame audiobooks (seriously... my overall music listening has plunged) and Shiina Ringo and her Tokyo Jihen, lol (almost 1000 plays together in less than two months...).
i'm the kind of guy that listen to something a lot and stick to that for a while, meaning a lot of artists can go unlistened to for a long time. until they release a new and awesome album and i go crazy over it... for some reason that didn't happen with Love is Best.

I can't really remember when it was. Perhaps before I got to know Ai |

| I had my Ai-chin phase a looong time ago when I first started getting into J-music. I listen to her, but definitely not as much anymore. |

That is kind of why I am afraid to delve deeper into J-music. I have very little self control in some cases. When I learned about Utada Hikaru, I really liked her and had to get everything she put out (CDs, DVDs). I still, do. Then came Ai-chan- same thing but a new CD each year and a concert DVD or two and a few singles. I would go broke if added more to this
Fortunately, I just do not seem to grow tired of Ai-chan, and Hikki is kind of a nice back-up. Other than that, I listen to U2 on occasion and others.
Right now, Ai-chan's music makes me happy and gives me energy, and until this changes (which I think may never happen), I will stay on the top choice of the survey above. |

I agree with you on that account. No worries, though. This survey is for when the last time you went for a period of time without listening to Ai-chan. Sounds like you are more than a year, too |

Actually I can tell pretty close to the exact date ...
24 August 2008 - Ordered Ai AM BEST CD/DVD
28 August 2008 - Your Order has been shipped
~02 September 2008 - Order arrives, life changed forever
Yep it's fairly unlikely I have missed a day since that first order arrived. Unless I went a full day without listening to music at all I definitely have listened to her every day since then |
