I'm not a great fan of Namie, and I actually don't have any of her song on my computer! I've listen to some of her song like Girls Talk and Speed Star, I think they are pretty unique and much different from other Jpop of song I listened to.
I know she used to be the Jpop queen before the emergence of ayu, and I used to like Namie's "Can you celebrate?", which happens to be the theme song of Japanese drama "Virgin Road" (bad drama  ). Japanese drama used to be an effective medium for bringing Japanese song and artist to wide array of audience, I'm not too sure if it's still the case today.
Anyway, I'm not a fan of Namie so I better stop talking crap. |

| Its ok if you don't like Namie that much, we ain't gonna chew your head off like at those big forums like JpopMusic Forum or Jpop Forum.lol. At first I didn't like Namie myself until she put out "Shine More". I mean, I had a few of her R&B songs from her "Break The Rules" and "Genius 2000" album, but still wasn't a fan until the "STYLE" singles came out. Since then Namie has been my #1 J-pop artist (putting BoA #2, Ai Otsuka #3). I wasn't always a fan of Namie's 1995-1997 euro-beat days either, but I've grown to like. I really like 1995-2003 Namie, rather than this 2004-present Namie. "Want Me, Want Me" was a good single, but not the best. |

omg, I love Namie!  I was sooo ticked off when Mtv cut her out of that Asia relief concert. 
I mostly only like her R&B/Hip Hop works. I don't really know all her songs, but I've been starting to get familiar with more of the titles. My friend gave me a bunch of songs from the Suite Chic album, too. Those were really good.
I love to turn up her music and  when nobody is at home. |

Her "STYLE" album wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. Some of the songs should of been left off the album like "Come, "Don't Lie To Me" and "Fish". Come was horrible plain out, maybe if it sounded more R&B I would of liked it. "Don't Lie To Me" was sung horrible, it sounded like Namie was trying to over sing. "Fish" was horrible because Verbal is horrible, simple as that. I would rate this album a 7/10. I really enjoyed some songs on the album which were "Lovebite", "SO CRAZY", and "Namie's Style". |

| At this years MTV Japan Video Music Awards Namie won 'Best R&B Video' for Girl Talk, and 'Most Impressive Performing Artist of The Year Award'. Also, Namie recently won full custody of her son Haruto from her ex-husband SAM of the pop/dance group TRF. |
