She's not bad a singer, but I think her voice is kinda Shakira-ish. I can't believe she's that young too, she sounds way mature than her age!

Shakira-ish isnt bad! i like Shakira's voice. I think despite the fact she was very pop she was very original too.

| Yes, both Joss Stone and Shakira have deep powerful voices, they sound nothing alike. Neither is their music alike. Joss Stone sounds much better than Shakira, simply because Joss doesn't scream, and actually sings. Unlike Shakira who screams, and sounds like her nose is stuffed. |

Well I do not think it is only why people do like Shakira. I like Shakira a lot but I do because her music has a unique taste to it. Also she sings quite well it my opinion  I don't think she sounds like her nose is stuffed at all. She's quite a good singer and performer even when singing live. So maybe you shouldn't bash other singers since I'm sure you wouldn't like it if somebody bashed Joss. |

i agree with rinoa. shakiras music has very original sound and her vocal is original too. people may compare her to cheap pop like britney but shakira writes her lyrics by herself and some of her music she does by herself too. and its just her way of doing it. and i consider her very original (check out her lives guyz, she is very good live)

Just to post some news here.
She has a new album [duh, who doesn't know that yet?  ] - Introducing Joss Stone. I didn't hear the album, but I didn't see any bad comments either. Did someone heard her last album?
Plus, there a rumor she will perform a show in Brazil...but dunno if is true. Could be true
