well, you and your friend and her family are in our thoughts and prayers i hope things work for all of you
also my thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Chile where that 8.8magnitued earthquake hit this morning and the people that have been and will be affected by the suspected impending tsunami there in the Pacific |

Oh, that's so sad~! I hope her dad'll be alright and she'll go back to Europe soon
So many sad topics today...
It was an 8.8!!!!!? My dad just said "Chile got struck by an 8 something magnitude earthquake" when I saw the tsunami warning for Hawaii on TV
And Hawaii has officially been hit by the first wave-- of three feet. Hopefully they'll stay that small and Chile will recover from yet another earth shattering quake
And my sister says "I guess that 2004 tsunami has made us all paranoid" 'cause some people still aren't taking the threat seriously, but a lot of 'em are... They're downright panicking Panic = bad, people!! |

Oh no, that's terrible news I hope your friend's dad will be all right mango. And also to the people of Chile The Earth is just churning this year....
On a side note...and I really don't mean to draw attention to me... but last night was the last show of the musical. We put on a marvelous final show, but the best part was the cast party afterward. I have never danced and shouted and cried more in my life. I lost a lot of moisture from a combination of crying and sweating that night |

Well, at least you've brought it to a far happier topic
Congrats. I'm sure you were all wonderful ^^ And now you'll get to rest from that stress trip, too
And, as long as they're tears of happiness, it's all good
We're in the prep phase of a major stress trip-- Greshom, Oregon!! This'll be my first time competing, so it's absolutely terrifying, but still so exciting!! I just hope I don't mess up my bowings 'cause I'm fourth chair and on the outside, right where they'll be watching ... |

update for those who are interested...
the surgery on my friend's dad went well, almost all of the tumor was removed and the cancer was localized to the stomach. but he will still need chemo treatment, so that was a bit disappointing as they had hoped that the surgery would "take care of it". at least there were no complications making it worse, so he's doing better. hopefully the future treatment will go well too. |
