Wah, I never even thought about a Chinese version of "over the clouds"! But I've heard a lot of it will be original compositions, so I'm super interested in this album.

I hope it's a mix of traditional and electronic, like Sa Ding Ding's work. That would be sweet.

So much news on alan ... I just can't keep up

- Okay this "album" is not really an "album." In China, it's often referred to as an EP which is somewhat equivalent to what the Japanese music industry refer to as a mini album

- According to alan's blog she's thinking of getting a Twitter account. She wants to see if it's easy to use. It can't be that hard ... if she knows how use a blog, I'm sure she can handle Twitter. I think all the short-terms and abbreviation and Twitter lingo is the only thing that can get confusing for beginners. People (hardcore twitter-ers) refer to cities by their airport codes for crying out loud. If she does get an account, and I find out the url, I'll let you guys know.

- She's back in Japan working/recording a new single

- She's schedule for another series of concerts (which she refers to her 2nd concert...)
July 16 (Friday) Osaka NHK7月16日(金)大阪 NHK Hall Enter arena 18:00/Performance start 19:00
July 23 (Friday) Tokyo Bunkamura Orchard Hall Enter arena 18:00/Performance start 19:00
July 24 (Saturday)東京 Bunkamura Orchard Hall Enter arena 18:00/Performance start 19:00

As for the track list ... she's got some pretty um poetic/artistic titles.
Koda, I didn't know you knew Chinese O.o

I'll write what I think the titles are and why. Though I never majored in Chinese literature or took any hardcore Chinese classes so I might to 100% right. It'll be interesting to see what the official translations are ...

1 My Moonlight
- It's more straightforward ... so I agree with Koda
2. Sharp Shadow ~Sharp Light~
- It could be glittering light .. but that character doesn't really mean that ... it does however mean sharp ... but it is used artistically here so I'm not sure what the lyricist is trying to convey. I'd have to see the lyrics to the song. They might be trying to contrast shadow and light though based on the title...
3. It's Best to Have Me
- if I was to translate it out right it would be: Have Me The Best ... but that sounds weird in English so I re-arrange it to sounds more natural in English.
4. One Remaining Wing
- This is one I'm most uncertain of because it's really flowery language. I could be completely off but I'm going by interepation here ... it's hard to do a literal translation with such characters ... 落單 kind of means the one left remaining and 翅膀 essentially means wings (there is a more common character for that) but it might mean "fallen wings" .... I'm really not certain of this one. If I see my Dad this week, I'll ask him since he's more into this kind thing.

Yea she mentioned in her blog she was going to be busy this year. She has just finished promotional work in China and then she went back to Japan to work on the single ... so crazy.

She's also got an "alan special" airing on CCTV on April 3rd and another repeat broadcast on the 4th. So today and Tomorrow if she's going by their time zone lol

Oh and apparently I suck at English or I just can't type when I'm in a hurry. I meant I might not be 100% right

- According to YA the EP comes with a DVD and contains 4 MVs ...
01. 我的月光
02. 炫影~Sharp Light~
03. 落單的翅膀
04. my life

Also, apparently you can stream the CCTV alan special here:

I'm exhausted though so I'm too lazy to figure out the video player.

Nada Sou Sou! Yay! I'm going to refrain from hearing the preview though, at least for now Smile

I'm quite excited for the EP, no lie. The tracklist looks great, and I'm glad they chose 'my life' for a Chinese version. I think it will translate well to Chinese.
