Been a while .... let's see since then I've watched Konkatsu, an Aya drama that seriously suffered from NEA ( Not Enough Aya - add that to your car plates Jerome ) ... anyway while I'm pretty happy with job all the actors did on this show, I found the storyline not so great and was only really watching in the end for Aya. Hence my NEA problem
Other than that, I just finished Koinu no Waltz This reminded me a bit of Liar game, with its crazy plot twists and formulised plotline Enjoyable but at the same time quite ridiculous Watch at your own risk.
Now what to watch next? Probably one of Code Blue, Hataraki Man or Orange Days |

Liar Game 2 will carry a disappointing ending to some as episode 9 won't be the finals...instead, leave everyone watching the movie that's coming out in March (I think...)
Overall, episode 8 was really good, but they reused the same stuff from season 1. The entire drama is no longer revolving around Erika Toda, but mainly between Matsuda Shota (Akiyama) and Kikuchi Rinko (Katsuragi). Again, I don't get why she has to carry a role where it makes her look so stupid...I don't care how generous or gullible she is, but in some situations she literally exaggerates on everything that can be as simple as 1,2,3. If it wasn't for Kikuchi Rinko (Oscar nominee btw), this drama would be literally dead in the water.
So far this season's recommendations:
Code Blue 2 (haven't watched it with subs)
Bloody Monday 2
Massugu na Otoko http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Massugu_na_Otoko
Angel Bank
Tokujo Kabachi!!
for those who know Peace Maker Kurogane, it seems like they made a drama out of it:

i finished watching Smile yesterday. took me a while, didn't it? i liked it, there were plenty of moments you got pretty annoyed at the situations, but it was good, yup. (except MatsuJun's crying... can't stand it! ARGH!)
and man, Aragaki Yui...

TELL ME ABOUT IT! man, i started watching this one a couple of years ago, then there were no more subs... so i watched the other half yesterday. i mean, i thought the first half was quite ridiculous and weird and people dying everywhere and no-one seems to care much about it, lol... but the second half was seriously insane.
now, i really like Abe Natsumi (the main char), but she and whoever that guy playing Shinya was could seriously show a bit more feelings... it got really silly in the end. i'm still not sure what happened, even after watching the "behind the scenes" vid...
it was just super strange... especially the computer without the heart made me cringe. ><
so, is Liar Game like this? i mean, i'm definitely okay with the plot twists, i love those, only that there was so much stuff that was ridiculous about it.
at the moment i'm watching Churasan, i'm at ep 73 of 156 now. i had problems with the torrents having no seeds, but then i found a direct download site, so now i'm seeding the torrents myself.
apparently one of my Japanese friends here went to the same high school in Okinawa as Eri (the main char).
i would like to watch another morning drama, Tereteru Kazoku, the reasons being kinda obvious... Ishihara Satomi! and Ueno Juri!
too bad there's probably no subs for it to be found anywhere... that is if i could even find the videos first.
edit: FOUND THEM! but i guess i'll be watching without subs... |

^ funny how the title is "perfect girl evolution" and the cast looks like it's mostly guys.
i finished all 156 eps of Churasan some time ago and i'm almost finished with season 2 also. then just two more short seasons to go. it's a good series, but i dunno if i will miss it when it ends... since it's run for a pretty long time.
atm i'm watching Pasta, recommended to me by a friend who just watched it. i'm on ep 17 of 20, and i like it. though Hyun Wook is a bit too much like Gordon Ramsey at times, haha.
anyone got any other K-dramas to suggest? onegaishimasu! i don't know which ones to watch. |

i've always wanted to watch perfect girl evolution cause i've loved the anime (lazy to read the manga ) its about the 4 guys, changing the main female character to be outgoing, lovely, etc. The girl is gloomy and scary. and if they are successful, they dont have to pay the rent.
i've watched a few K-dramas, i would recommend
You're Beautiful. It's funny and cute! if you like gender bender plots like coffee prince, you would like this!
Who Are You? is also a funny one, but the first episode made me cry it was a good watch because the main actor is really good at portraying 2 very different characters.
Boys Over Flowers is a hyped up drama. Adapted from the manga, 'Hana Yori Dango', need I say more? it's up to you to see if it is worth the watch.
Beethoven Virus is about a group of unrelated people coming together wanting to play orchestra pieces because they love music. I love the soundtracks!
You can try All About Eve too, it is the first kdrama i've watched and it's a classic! there are others, like Delightful Girl Chun-Hyang and My Girl. They're all very enjoyable. |

^ i've seen You're Beautiful and My Girl, and Hana Yori Dango, so don't feel like i need to see Boys Over Flowers. other K-dramas i've seen are Full House, some of East of Eden and half (so far) of Hello! Miss.
i'll look into the other ones you recommended. thank you.
Winter Sonata is apparently a classic one also, is it good?
edit 8 Apr: i finished Pasta and the rest of the Churasan series.
now i'm watching Shoukoujo Seira (or Shokojo Seira as they spell it on DramaWiki >__>). Shida Mirai is such a sweetie (i highly recommend both 14sai no Haha and Seigi no Mikata with her in them). so far it's pretty good, but somehow i think she's a bit too compliant. ah, well, i'll just see how it continues.
edit 9 Apr: finished Shoukoujo Seira (apparently Seira = Sara ). it was kinda a mix of annoying things, sometimes because they were way too predictable, sometimes because they could've been fixed by just actually saying what was wrong, and sometimes just because even though they knew all the circumstances they still blamed the wrong person (that is Seira, she also blamed herself).
but it was still okay, the story had some really sweet and nice parts, and Mirai is just so cute you can't stay angry at her. also, more than usually in these kind of series (i think), the main character really tries to live life as right as possible. hontou ni erai. i thought the moral of the story was good, dealt with quite a few things.
oh! and damn, her french is like whoa! awesome! shokku datta! (she's got a lot better pronounciation than the teacher, lol...)
now i just finished watching the second episode of Summer Snow, so far it's really good. been a while since i saw a drama with Hirosue Ryouko. and Oguri Shun is doing an awesome job at being half deaf and speaking weirdly. |

I finished Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu (cried my heart out)
and Autumn's Concerto. Both strong dramas with a lot of emotions. Though I wouldn't recommend AC to just anyone. There's a lot of drama and misunderstand that can get frustrating and the latter of the series wasn't the best because there were too many writers working on it and they were always rushing the scripts so they could get it to the actors on time. The cast was stellar though. Xiao Xiao Bin totally stole the show (for a five year, he's got major potential)
Sunao ni Narenakute doesn't even start airing in Japan until April 15th but I'm looking forward to it. Cast looks awesome so does the theme and insert song. |

finished Summer Snow, the ending was somewhat predictable, and i think it could've been carried out a bit better, but it was still pretty good.
also started and finished:
(1) Tokyo DOGS (Yoshitaka Yuriko ), which was good enough for me to finish in one day.
(2) Beautiful Life (another early KimuTaku drama), which i thought was going to be better after what i read about it. super high ratings also. i guess it was more than pretty good, i'm just kinda tired of dramas about a girl with a desease.
(3) Cupid no Itazura... lol, i've never seen a drama like this. quite funny, but quite weird, and quite a lot sex related.
and now i'm watching Hitonatsu no Papa he. so far it's good. |

I finished both seasons of Code Blue and the SP ... I wouldn't mind a 3rd season of Code Blue ... cast is good and the stories around the patients and the lives of the doctors actually flowed quite well.
I'm watching Sunao ni Narenakute by raw for now. Until I find subs I like. |

Haven't watched much lately (thanks to FFXIII) .... but finished Buzzer Beat last night. My sister and I just had to laugh at some of the things that happened in that, yet it was still a decent drama.
Watched he first season of Code Blue a while back too |
