^It's even difficult for japanese people
I think if you speak chinese or korean then it'll be easier to understand how japanese sentences are formed...
For me it's easier to learn french because I speak spanish and italian xD And you don't have to learn kanji
@azurejan: That table is scary |

So Chinese people must be find it difficult. One thing that make it a bit easier is the kanji, although some Japanese kanji are different than Chinese character as well. |

The total number of Chinese characters are about 47,000, if including alternative and ancient characters there are more than 90,000. But nowadays, we commonly use only less than 10,000 characters.
Agree with Chokokokoa-san, the grammar of Japanese is completely different from Chinese. Kanji in Japanese were introduced 2000 years ago. Some Kanji have the similar pronunciation with Chinese Character, but most are not. Commonly used Kanji are about 1000, the total number of Kanji are about 6000. Why we Chinese understood some Japanese sentences because we guess from those Kanji which similar to Chinese characters, approximately we can only guess 20%, if we read a Japanese passage or news.
For Hanja in Korean, after creation of Korean alphabets (Hangul), Hanja are no longer used except for person's name, for normal situations, Hanja are almost obsolete.
Few months ago, pon pon said he has just discovered that there are some different between the writing strokes of Ai-chin's name. Let's see,
Japanese Kanji, (from an old Japanese magazine)
we see everyday, her name almost appears in your dream daily.
Traditional Chinese, (from a Hong Kong newspaper)
just one additional stroke in comparison to Kanji, can you find it?
Simplified Chinese, (from a mainland China Music magazine)
except 大, another two characters are totally different. |

just one additional stroke in comparison to Kanji, can you find it? For the "tsuka (塚)", originally Japanese Kanji is the same with Traditional Chinese. But since Japanese law simplified it a bit to a Shinjitai around 1940's, the "tsuka (塚)" appears like nowadays (less one stroke than Traditional Chinese).

^ I haven''t noticed such difference.
At the beginning, I wrote the jp Kanji one then soon I found that I wrote wrong in terms of Chinese.
I was just wondering whether I made a really big mistake in writing my idol name in the differents sheets of memory for my classmates in F5.
Now I understand that I hv not written a wrong one. It's just diff. between Trad. Chin. and Japanese. |

But the drawing is not her portrait, it's Fuu-chan's friend named Sacchan.
Fuu-chan ever met Aichin?
Fuu-chan talked with Aichin in Life Love Circle radio in Dec 5th.
Aichin seems to like "Chicken Tatsuta" in McDonald. (it's an original menu in Japan)

Oh, I see.
Well, ¥320 seems not too expensive for that big? Usually burgers in McDonald's are about ¥500 to ¥600...
EDIT
About the hamburger's price, sorry I'm wrong. ¥320 is normal.
Here is the full price list. |
