Recochoku (Song download site ) had just end their new survey on the 19 June,
the topic for the survey was "Artists that you wish to get marry to" with a total
of valid votes 3597 for the "Male section" and 668 for "Female section".
Singer Ai Otsuka managed to get the 1st place for the "female section"
Reason:
女性部門の1位を獲得したのは、大塚 愛。愛ちんの元気いっぱいのキャラクターと可愛い笑顔がポイントとのこと。ファンの男性にしてみたら、さらに歌詞の中で見せる彼女の切なさや弱さに“俺が愛ちんを守ってやりたい”と、思ってしまうこともある…かも？
Translation:
(I just briefly and roughly translated the main points described)
Otsuka has cute smile on her face. Her male fans also sees the weaker side of ai-chin and feels the need to protect this cute girl.

 That is exactly what I was thinking!! misono got in the ranking too, and she is selling poorly too. oh well glad to know she has fans still. |

Ai-chin is so adorable, the results dont surprise me at all. 
It isn't only her apparant "weakness" which men find appealing, its her strength of character too:
she isn't afraid to be herself, and expresses herself honestly in lots of different ways |

Together it would have been 2 votes! Without having met her yet(don't hold my breath), besides being uber-kawaii,  she just seems so down to earth and fun, not stuck up in having some Pop-Star ego  ...got me thinking, what other J-Poppers does Ai hang out with? |
